2 star Downtown Victoria hotels in Victoria, British Columbia

This is an excellent hotel to stay at. It is right downtown and we did not need to rent a car, we were able to walk everywhere. Would absolutely stay here again as the hotel was very clean and I cannot say enough about the location. I was travelling with another adult and am not sure if I would bring my child to stay at the hotel with me as it is on a very busy street and there is not much to do for children.

Loved the location,..within walking distance to restaurants,and downtown.....and very close to the hospital and clinics to which I had to attend.

My partner and I stayed in a private suite here for one night because we wanted a place downtown that was not too expensive. The good: - central walkable location to everything - friendly staff - clean rooms - relatively more affordable - 24 hr front desk reception The bad: - the most uncomfortable bed I've ever paid to sleep in - I saw a mouse run across the floor of the lounge at night I would recommend this place if you are on a really tight budget, if you want the hostel experience (meeting other travellers), and if you want to stay downtown. But if you can afford to spend the extra money for a cheap hotel, you'll probably get a better nights sleep. Recap: As a hostel its great. As a cheaper alternative to a hotel, don't do it.

We weren't expecting much because of the reviews we read. Were we pleasantly surprised! We had a nice bedroom, a kitchen that was fully equipped and a nice little den/dining area. I will definitely stay here again. The location is right behind the BC Museum and the Parliament building and only a couple of blocks from the main waterfront. Beacon Hill Park is right across the street. Fabulous location! There is a nice little tea house/ restaurant right down the street. This is definitely a little known gem. FYI, I have no affiliation with this hotel except that we loved staying there.
