"Good hotel in middle of playa del Carmen "

"Lovely place"

"My mom and I loved our stay at Antera! All the staff at the hotel and restaurant were so lovely, and our room was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. Our room (3rd floor residences) also faced the courtyard, so the nightlife noise was minimal (and only on the weekends). The only small issues we had were our showers not heating up well, and the 12am quiet hours not always being upheld. Thank you everyone at Antera for making our stay wonderful!"

"We went on vacation with a 2-year-old child. It is a small and calm hotel. Very clean, personnel very amiable and helpful. It is one of the few hotels in Cozumel that has a beautiful beach with white sand and no rocks. Very relaxing beach with plenty of shade, chairs, and hammocks. The family pool is very fun for kids. "Property staff is extremely kind and helpful. Excellent service. The entertainment / shows was entertaining, fun and put together well. The buffet was average and not very impressive at all. We did not do the restaurants do to timing. Grounds is well kept and clean. Location is good easy to walk to shops. "Great beach, but need more beach umbrellas and small fountains to wash off sand from the feet. Huge plus of this hotel that you don’t need reservations to the restaurants, no wait line. Buffet is very good, restaurants are very good , except Mexican. Shows are professional. Big disadvantage : guests from Riu Tequila are using the beach and buffet for lunch, so it is becoming VERY crowded. That is why hotel should put more sun umbrellas around the beach and pool areas. "We were thankful to be on the main level, not needing to carry our luggage up 2 floors, but we were not put in the room that we paid for. We paid for a 2 bed room, and we were given a King bed. We were told they were full and none available. Then when I showed my receipt stating we paid for 2 beds they had a room but it was on the 3rd floor and the AC was off. "This is the place to go if you want a secluded get away for snorkeling and/or some booked adventures. Dinners every night next to the ocean and an all around serene trip. This is not adults only but caters to an older crowd of divers and snorkels so there were only one or two kids. The rooms are extremely simplistic and basic, I slept in the in-room hammock every night, as the bed is very firm. The grounds are Beautiful and the front looks like Shelha Water Park!
