The breakfast was homemade and abundant, the staff was professional And friendly. It was a centrally located hotel. Definitely a find in playa Del Carmen.

We had a suite with a balcony, Room 209. The room was not soundproof. Some patrons who used your elevator were noisy and woke us up so the door to the room is not soundproof. The late night traffic Friday night continued until 3:30 in the morning. The patio doors are NOT soundproof. Woke us up several times. Two nights there with broken sleep and very very tired when we had to fly back to Canada Saturday morning. Other than that the room and bedding were very nice. Hotel was nice, location excellent but I can't stay at a place where I am going to be woke up several times through the evening.

Compared to the previous location of the Holiday Inn, the pool is much smaller as is the seating area around the pool. The breakfast is not as good as the previous location...no omlettes or waffles. The toilet tank was very slow to fill and although I brought it to the attention of the desk staff, the problem was not corrected. We had to resort to using the ice bucket to fill the tank with water so we could flush the toilet.

Generally good but some big minuses. The big problem was noise both internal and external. On Saturday 21 Jan noisy renovation work started at 6.20AM and even earlier the next day. The floors in the room could be cleaner. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly
