“Banff Inn Hotel”

Great hotel,very clean and nice bed and linen....I would stay there again...Though, should have more selections on food than just pizza...

Area recommendations

right in the middle of the city, city centre area...where International Hotel is located not too far from the center of the city and restaurants.

Must see

To take the Gondoal ride up to the top of the mountain to see the panoramic view of Banff. It is awesome.

“Very Satisfied”

The hotel was nice, especially our room location at the front of the hotel with chalet style ceilings and overhangs, although it made it a little difficult to prevent bumping your head in the bathroom near the sink. The little gas fireplace in the corner (electronically operated) was a nice touch and would have been cozy had the weather been cooler. The The price was comparable to other hotels in the area--all overpriced for comparable hotels in the U.S. The breakfast was typically continental. The staff were cordial. I would be pleased to stay there again.

Area recommendations

If you want to be near the downtown area, then this hotel is only about 3 minutes drive. Many hotels along the main street both closer and farther than this one.

“Great Week at Banff Inn”

Spent a wonderful week at the Banff Inn. Room was a little small, but clean and comforatable. The location was excellent. close enough for an easy walk to downtown, but far enough away from the loud crowds. The hot tub was nice after a long day hiking. Minor complaint - not enough towels or electrical outlouts for all our electronics. Free wi-fi was nice and the included continental breakfast (plus cereals and hard boiled eggs) was also very nice.

Area recommendations

can't go wrong in Banff. Free parking and free local transportation, plus everything is pretty close for walking (in town). It was great to escape the heat of Florida. One surprise - if you drive in, you have to pay a parks Canada fee of about $20/day.

Outdoors or beach

Loved the white water rafting. We went over the mountain to Kicking Horse River for a more exciting ride with Wild Water Adventures. Signed up for the family half day, and ended up extending the trip to the full day.

“Exactly what we needed”

I stayed at this Inn for 6 nights, it was great. Had the king suite, the room was small but very nice and very comfortable. Great staff, good food. The only downside I had was the pool is VERY small, more like a large hot tub, we didn't use it.

“The Rockies Surround YOu”

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us. Even printing information and maps for us. The breakfast buffet was simple but sufficient for starting one's day. Wlaking distance to downtown Banff and perfect for families.

“Good middle of the road hotel for Banff”

It was a good hotel, but I wouldn't pay full price. Staff was exceptional friendly and prompt. No issues with the hotel. Breakfast buffet is like what you would get at more budget hotels - cold cereal, bagels, juice, hard boiled eggs, etc.

“Nice place, great town!!”

The hotel was nice, within walking distance to the main shopping/eating area! The bus stop is accross the street if you choose, VERY convient! The breakfast was so basic, I'd skip it next time. Don't let them put you in the room closest to the lobby....too noisey, all day and up till 11pm, depending on the other guest.

Area recommendations

Banff is not a huge town, but very pretty - dont miss out, rent a bike and see more of the town!

We ate the burgers @ Eddie's ......very dry, not as good as we were told. Must find a restraunt names SALTIK, on Bear St.........IT WAS SO GOOD!
