Pros: Decor, uniqueness, comfort
Location: Walking distance from everything
We loved this b&b. Our host was very helpful and our suite was beautiful. We had espresso on the balcony every morning. We felt like we had our own cozy, romantic apartment in Barcelona. Could not have asked for a better stay.

Tiny room, shared bathroom but in central locationPosted May 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is not a hotel - more like an apartment. There is no reception (you have to contact the owner with your arrival time) and there is no safe for valuables. Our room was tiny (it basically just had enough space to squeeze in a double bed), but since we spent most of the time sightseeing, we didn't mind this too much. The bed was very comfy. There are no cupboards for clothes - just baskets in the wall and a few hangers from a railing attached to the wall so it seems to be suitable for a short stay rather than a long stay. It was very quiet at night which is good. The one surprising fact was that we had to share our bathroom and it is not attached to the room - you have to walk down the corridor. The bathroom should be cleaned more often since there were quite a few people using it. The owner was really friendly and provided advice about where to go. The airport shuttle is really nearby and the old town (Barrio Gothic) and Las Ramblas are a short walk away so the location was excellent. I gave this hotel 3/5 because of the location. The accommodation itself would be 2/5.

Interesting, but needs improvement.Posted Apr 28, 2013
Pros: The furniture in the sitting room. Metro station nearby.
Cons: No Wi-fi, and no way to contact the manager.
Location: Fine, but noisy street.
This hotel is located in a nice residential area. When we got there the Manager was away. A very nice woman let us in and tried to explain everything but she only spoke German. The big disappointment was we never were able to sign into the Wifi. She told me the code was under the router but it never worked. We saw the manager our first night. He asked if we had any questions but we were exhausted and assumed we'd see him the next day. We never saw him again. The room was interesting with a sitting area and a bedroom. The bathroom however was in the hall, it was private but the shower is not made for tall people. The windows were very old and never closed completely. The noise from the road outside, especially the motor cycles and the garbage trucks, was loud at times. The continental breakfast was non-existent. There was a coffee maker in the room and we found some corn flakes and sunflower seeds in the kitchen. That's it! We went to a nearby market and bought our own milk, juice and bread.
