travelling to see friends in Wales this was within a couple of miles of where we needed to be. The hotel was in superb condition and everything was in tip top shape. The room was comfortable, bathroom was neat and compact, but had a big shower area. The breakfast was really nice for a buffet with plenty of choice and the staff were pleasant. Typical high Hilton standard, and I would stay there again.

This hotel rocked! Had the best time of ANY hotel I have stayed at. Staff was friendly and attentive to needs without being pushy. One woman working in the breakfast area one morning overheard us talking about the temp which was in centigrade(were Americans). She went to the kitchen where they had a Centigrade and Fahrenheit thermometer and came back to tell us that it was about 65-70 degrees F. She did the same thing the following day. She was not asked by us to do this. Well, I had to complement her to her boss who said it was good to hear positive feedback and he would tell her of our kind remarks . Maybe she will get employee of the month or something. A Concierge helped us with getting a taxi and suggesting things off the beaten path for us to see(traditional Welsh village known as St. Fagans). The hotel is beautiful and right in the heart of the city center with all the shopping and dining places you could ever need. A door man heard that we were packing up to leave and asked if he could hail a taxi for us but we told him the following day, not now. He said to just stop at the main desk and they will get one for us ASAP.

This was our second stay at the hotel we asked in advance for the same room and got it 108, lovely and clean the lovely old comfy sofa bed had gone and was replaced with a modern chair, which looked nice in the room. Only negative is no fridges in the room for me its important as my son is not well and needs constant anti biotics there is however a fridge at reception where u can store things. Lovely leisure facilities massive pool for a hotel, varied kids menu, staff really friendly could do 2ith an out door play area in their very large garden to keep the kids occupied as ours like so many were bored playing games by the bar. I would recommened this hotel every time and will be staying again.
