Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. "This is a great place to stay with multiple families. You are all together but have your own separate space and kitchen. We stayed here with family and attended our sons wedding nearby!! There is a great restaurant that we drove to not far from the Villa that I highly recommend: Osteria Del Tempo Perso - Montespertoli FI There is a Coop about 15 min drive and 25 min to downtown Florence"

"Beautiful home, dazzling finishes, lots of space. Went in April. Could not enjoy the gardens & patio due to inclement weather. Made dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. Not far from Park n’ Ride (€7 all day; €1.50 each way to Florence. Minutes by car to the vineyards. This villa has it all."

"Beautiful setting in the country. Not exactly easy to get to since the access road is filled with pot holes, cows and very bumpy. A solid 10 minute drive off main paved road to get to Villa. Host was accomadating but a lot went wrong. It wasn’t occupied for over a month and we were greeted with water on floor in kitchen unknowing of source. Water heater never worked so we had cold showers throughout week. And then our neighbors(cows) came through property overnight and made quite a mess....

"We enjoyed a delightful two weeks staying at Villa Il Borrachio in September. Apartment Azalea is spacious, well equipped and set on two floors. The two bedrooms on the first floor have double beds and en-suites whilst the bedroom on the ground floor has two single beds with a bathroom located on the other side of the kitchen/dining area. "First of all this home is beautiful! Wonderfully furnished in every way. Kitchen is percecfly accommodating! "This place could not be in a better location. You would never know that you are practically down town Florence while staying in this little oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained were you wake up to the deer, pheasant, and ducks with your morning coffee. The stairs to the second story bedroom can be treacherous so be cautious going up and down and the upstairs bathroom is quite small, however the bottom bathroom makes up for it! "We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca.
