Pros: no tv in the room!
Cons: early breakfast!
Location: amazing sea views!
it was an actively christian hotel and while as an athiest i thought it was quaint other guests may not be quite so tolerant. the hotel is very open on their website about their status so perhaps expedia could follow their example.

Treloyhan Manor Hotel - St. IvesPosted Apr 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
I must say that initially I was a bit put off by the severe appearance of the hall and byt the whole Christian Guild thing in general (with the promise of a Mass celebrated daily at 10am in the hall). This said, the the hotel is in an amazing spot, walking distance from the town centre. We had a huge room, spot clean, with a sweeping view on the bay. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and they serve a lovely cooked-to-order English breakfast. Nothing glamourous is to be expected here - it's a place for families and elderly people - no bar in the hotel, although they do sell spirits at the reception desk. All in all, a good fairly-priced countryside hotel.
