Cons: the ownly problem was the whirl pool temperature should be lowered that is the hottest that i've been in

Clean but Tiny room

Cons: They advertise RV parking but fail to mention it is on the street.
Location: Close to I-35.
Another hotel that hasn't kept it's information up-to-date. The pictures showed a hot tub but we were told the hot tub was removed three years ago.

Posted Oct 21, 2013found an ear wig in the sink of one of our rooms & mold in the fridge, the beds were super hard. They charged me extra for my 14 & 16 year old daughters too!

Quality hotel for an inexpensive price.

Cons: The bathroom toilet kept running and would not shut off so it was very loud and going non-stop.
Location: It is in a prime location next to I-235 and got us downtown in good timing.
The Days Inn on Merle Hay Rd. is a quality hotel to stay at and the facilities are well-taken care of. It was a nice place to stay.

Auto accident prevented the get together. I reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights. Daughter-law had police reports and doctor reports ready to send. I went to Wissconsin to see the grand daughter. I could only stay for one of the two nights. Were given a refund for the other room. If possiable......... would like my other night refunded. Would still recommend your place to my friends and family. Thank You Herb Munz

Surprise charges after your stay
Posted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.comThe hotel was "fine", not nice but not a dump. I will NEVER stay there again though because when I got my bank statement a month later, there were additional charges with no warning. The hotel was paid for through hotels.com and I see the charge on my statement from hotels.com but there is an additional $10 charge from Days Inn Iowa that I didn't authorize or know anything about till a month later. How dishonest is this? I'm glad I keep a buffer in my account so the extra charge didn't cause any overages since it was WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT! I hope the extra $10 was worth lost business and bad reviews! I intend to post this on all sites, maybe it will prevent someone else from being ripped off.

Posted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.comWe weren't looking for much since it was one resting place for us to continue our journey. Wouldn't want to stay there as a destination. The only complaint was the stair way stuck, both days, which means it had an issue with mold or cleaning etc.

Posted Aug 17, 2013Nice over all. Staff was super helpful with directions. The room appeared to be clean but as I investigated further the under sheets were not clean at all ICK. The pool area was nice, kind of on the small side. Arcade was good, with the exception it was 1.00 per play. The breakfast was alright not a lot of hot things to choose from. It was overall ok just stayed there 2 nights
