We checked in for a quick overnight stay before an early morning flight. We were put in a room WAY at the back of the hotel on the bottom floor (older part?). We got to the room & the ceiling was low, it was very dark, dingy, sticky bathroom floor, and the TV was super small. We shrugged it off since we would be leaving extra early anyway. A couple doors before we got to the room, there was a lady screaming swear words at her children. We'd soon learn that the walls and doors were paper thin! We TRIED to go to sleep. Within a short amount of time, the children in that same room were crying & the parents were yelling, AND a dog started barking in the room right next to us. It was SO loud. We called down to the desk to express our concerns & they said they'd let the people know. In the meantime, the door to go outside (down a couple rooms) was being opened and closed repeatedly and we heard it slam close EVERY TIME. We called down to the front desk again after the dog continued to bark, to ask for a new room. So, at 10:30 PM, we packed up all of our things and moved to another room - in an entirely different part of the hotel. The second room was not as dingy, somewhat cleaner, and didn't feel as old as the first room. It was a disappointing experience. Why would we be put in a room next to a dog anyway?! There should be areas in the hotel for people with dogs. We will never stay here again. If you do, ask for a room NOT in the back! Very misleading to even use those rooms.
