One night stay in AllburysPosted Nov 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Staying in Edinburgh was a last-minute decision and the hotels we first tried were full. Allburys was an excellent and surprising find; we expect to stay there again. Very good breakfast; porage especially recommended!

Victorian house on treed street in Haymarket area.Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: I like the house's bright decor, the artwork, very strong Wifi, complete quiet at night and the house's outlook over a school's park- like grounds.
Cons: We were quite satisfied.
Location: Haymarket area of Edinburgh, short walk to Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle and other attractions. Great restaurants and pubs a block away.
House is a 15 minute walk from Edinburgh's busy centre. Close access to taxis, bus and trains. Excellent restaurants a block away. Had excellent sleeps here because our room had a King Sized bed (not easy to find in Scotland) and the area is dead quiet at night. Host Derrick knows his Edinburgh history and gave lots of helpful tourist tips. Breakfast was prompt, good and tailored to each individual guest's taste. We can easily recommend a stay here.

Excellent B&B in a quiet street, well locatedPosted Sep 22, 2014
Well located for business -near Haymarket station and by a Tram stop to the airport-, it has all the good things and more from a B&B -xcellent breakfast and expresso coffee, for example. Good views, big bedrooms, with high ceilings, and a very good atention from Derek, the owner.

Excellent B&B in great central location.Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Everything was to like about this great B&B
Location: Fantastic location with easy access to trains, trams and buses which were an easy 2 minute walk away.
This B&B isn't your average place to stay, in fact we thought it was fantastic with a great central location which is only 5 mins walk from Haymarket train station. The place boasts stylish decor and comfort in abundance. Derick who owns the place is very friendly and likes to share his local knowledge, especially when it comes to great places to eat.

toller servicePosted Jun 23, 2014 on Hotels.com

The one to chosePosted Jun 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Parking is a little cumbersome, but apart from that this is the place to stay if you want to be relaxed and let the host pamper you a little.

It's the best we have stayed so far but could have been better if there was early breakfast options....a little earlier than 8 am.

Feels like home!Posted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
What's left to say about this place, it's 5 star all round, I couldn't find fault and to be honest I didn't want to. I stayed for 2 nights and didn't really want to leave by the end, unfortunately I was there on business but I will be going back. The room was decorated tastefully and had everything you could want. Bed was very comfortable and loved the rain shower. The host (and his 2 cats) made my short stay a pleasure and also cooked a prefect breakfast to start my days. It's a short walk into Haymarket or 15 mins to George street.
