“NIce furnishings/able to do wedding planning!”

Needed space for two to sleep but for four to do wedding planning. Nice desk and chair, nice "easy" chair and comfortable couch. Worked out great -this was just a standard room!

The service was incredible -- all staff encountered were extremely professional and friendly. I was impressed with the ambiance in the hotel lobby area, and my room itself was very nice and super comfortable.

We were on the last night of several college visits, came into Eugene and found a clean, lovely room with everything we needed, including a small refrigerator. Parking can be tight, so you may need to walk a bit. The place was buzzing with activity when we arrived (plant show, cancer walk) but there were no delays at the front desk and everyone was friendly and efficient.

“Great base for exploring Eugene and area.”

Staff friendly and helpful. Room well laid-out and spacious. Balcony overlooking river very nice. We used this hotel as a base to tour the wineries and other attractions in the surrounding area. It works well for that purpose. Shopping, restaurants, highways and downtown all easily accessed. If you like walking, running or cycling the paved trail along the river will take you for miles.

We have stayed here several times and are never disappointed. In this instance, the staff went out of their way to find us a more desirable room.

Beautiful river view, safe walk ways, convenient airport shuttle service 24/7 and terrific restaurant on site: selections from the menu are presented beautifully with a gorgeous river view. Staff is dedicated to pleasing the clientel.

“Great Location, staff and amenities”

Got the 'conceirege' service level which included appetizers and cocktails and special breakfast next AM, slept in so can't comment on that. Very VERY nice staff. NOTE--pool was under construction and the crew started Sat AM at 8! My room overlooked the pool :( Have stayed here many times--best hotel in Eugene. Booked on the 'blind' Expedia for first time--saved a lot of money and was thrilled. Definately go back.

“Valley River Inn, Eugene”

Good location close to town and the school without being too close. Nice restaurant and bar with outdoor seating on the river. Clean, big room. If you have to work during your stay, you'll really like that the give you a nice sized, functional, desk area. The pool looked clean in early February ... didn't go in because it was February. The sauna area was nice also. I think they just need to update the carpet thoughout.
