Pros: It was clean and the staff was eager to please.
Cons: I think they are working on the musty smell in the lower level. I did not notice that smell in the lobby.
Location: We were there for a wedding so we did not check out anything to do. However when we were hungry later that evening we had MANY choices for food.
This hotel has a split entry to get to the rooms you either go down about 5 steps or up steps. We requested a room on the lower level so we could use the ramp to get to our room since my wife has trouble with steps. The lower level has a bit of a musty smell, but we noticed that they are trying to fix the problem with dehumidifiers. The room was on the small side, but very clean. You can tell that it is not brand new anymore. When we travel we usually only need the clean room with a bed, a shower & toilet and a TV. This room had all those items and a few other amenities. If we have occasion to go to Fargo again, we would stay at this hotel again. The price was, for us a deciding factor in picking this hotel because it was less then a couple of other places that we were told about.

Only stay if you need a place to crashPosted Sep 23, 2014
The staff was friendly, but the hotel is out dated and smelly. In general it was clean, just old. The rooms smelled musty and the air conditioning didn't work to help eliminate the smell. The hot tub had hair and other things floating in it & the pool needed maintenance.

Pros: Close to the highway for when we had to leave early the next morning.
The room smelled musty. Bathroom seemed dingy and I didn't want to use the towels. The towels should be replaced and maybe some bleach used.

Great location for shoppingPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The hotel was clean and quiet.
Cons: The staff could have been a little more helpful.
Location: The location is excellent for shopping and lots of restaurants nearby.
We spent a couple of days in Fargo doing some shopping and then relaxing in the hotel's pool and hot tub. At one point I asked the staff for some extra towels and was told to come to the lobby to get them. I was ok with that but when I got there they had to be dug out of the laundry bin and folded first. I thought that was kinda odd.

The price was right and the room was clean so it wasn't a total disappointment. The room was on the lower level (basement) and was damp. The air conditioning was loud but that was good as it drowned out the noise form the highway. The bed was supposed to be a queen but I find that hard to believe. We have a queen at home and this did not look or feel like a queen. It was also sagging so I felt like I was going to roll into the middle. I had told the front desk that the bed wasn't a queen but the lady reassured me that it was so I let it go - I won't stay there again.
