It did the job

Very nice hotel but needs renovation. The bathrooms are very old. The beds are very firm even on the executive floor. Stayed for two nights between 8th till 10th December 2013. The breakfast was very good with a big variety. The hotel staff is very helpful. I will definitely stay here again as the location is very good.

Good choice for Fuzhou

The check in was painless and the room assignment correct (on a non smoking floor). This might seem like small details but for those who have spent time in China this is a major plus for the hotel straight away. The rooms were very smart with flat screen tv, mini bar and lots of bathroom soaps and lotions. The bed would be a little hard for some but OK for me as I hate soft beds. Shower was powerful. The bathroom was spotless but just needed to be refurbished. The hotel also offered two bottles of complimentary water daily and free newspaper which is appreciated. Breakfast was excellent with western tastes well catered for. I asked the chef to make an omelette for me each morning. The aircon never seemed to cool the room down enough for me (I dont like a warm room). The surrounding area has lots of inexpensive eating places but language can be a bit of a challenge. Everyone though was very polite and friendly and I would choose this hotel again if I was staying in Fuzhou.
