Booked this hotel for my mother - was a mistake

Pros: It had a bed.
Cons: Staff, facilities, maintenance.
Various people had problems while attempting to check in - TV not working, no towels in the bathroom, room doors not locking... various room and key lockers not working at all, which I find particularly alarming. Staff seems clueless or doesn't care, not sure which is worse. Luckily the stay was only for one night, but the above did not make her feel safe.

Pros: nothing
Cons: refreshing, paint, etc.
Location: nothing on the exit with this one but gas, the next exit up had another Day's Inn and that is where there places to eat were at
Most of the Days Inn I have stayed at weren't bad for being one of the lower dollar rates while driving. However after staying at this one I am seriously thinking of crossing Days Inn off my list of okay places. The dead bolt lock would not lock because the whole door jam was loose. It was just dirty and dungy looking. The biscuits were too hard for breakfast.

Worst experience

Pros: nothing. It was in a really bad part of town and made us very nervous, especially having our kids with us

The room had no phone, no hair dryer, no iron, and I had trouble connecting to the internet. I had to walk to the front desk to tell them we were having issues and they took a non-caring attitude. The room was filthy. The worst part was that we wouldn't have gone through expedia if we had known that there were hotels all around there (including a Days Inn) that were 10-15 dollars cheaper.

Dissappointing stay

Pros: The staff was courteous, but slow.
Cons: The furnishings, the breakfast food, the rooms, the noise levels.
Location: There are several restaurants nearby, some less than 2 miles, but no regular chains close by except Subway.
Toilet was clogged, room was missing a tele[phone, smoke alarm appeared to need a new battery, bath mat appeared to have some mold around the edges. Furniture was beat-up and damaged, bed coverings torn and threadbare. Second room smelled stale. Outside door was almost impossible to lock, and the lock mechanism appeared to have been dameged at one time. Almost could not get the door opened. We won't stay there again. Too noisy, too much traffic very close to the motel rooms; people playing loud music until quite late, arguments in other rooms could be heard. Overzll, a bad experience. Also, the breakfast food was stale and and the buscuits hard as rocks. Food must have been several days old.

Not good

Cons: Hire a staff that has pride in their work and is trained for their position. Obviously, management needs to be trained in customer service.

Our experience this hotel was horrible. The clerk asked us three times if we wanted one or two keys. Twice we told her we wanted two keys. We finally said one key, and she was able to give us a key. THEN, while trying to relax in our room all of a sudden the door opens. Yes, the door OPENS! A gentleman was shocked to find someone in the room. We told him the room was already occupied. When we informed the morning clerk about our experience, he was LESS than interested in what we had to say. I highly doubt anything was done with the information we gave to him. It was apparent that reporting dissatisfaction was commonplace. We were not as concerned about the ripped bedspread or the cold biscuits at breakfast as we were about the lack of interest for customer service by the staff. A very bad reflection on the Days Inn company.

I hoped for a better experience

The furniture was not in good repair. The bed clothes were torn and old. The rooms had a bad odor. No remote to the TV. Police were in the parking lot dealing with disturbances. Continental breakfast was a disappointment. Better experience at a nearby competitor on a return trip for similar room rate.

They never cleaned the room, I had to go down to the lobby to get my own tissue, towels and ect......I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone they have very poor service and it was so bad to the point of me going to find another hotel to stay inn.
