NOT AS DESCRIBED WHEN BOOKING

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: THE STAFF WAS PLEASANT
Cons: WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED IS SIMPLY JUST PROVIDING WHAT WAS ADVERTISED WHEN I BOOK THE TRIP LIKE THE CLUB BEING OPEN AND HAVING MORE THAN ONE BAR
Location: NOTHING THAT WHY I BOOKED IN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT I WANTED TO STAY THERE AND BE ENTERTAINED
FIRST ROOM DOOR WAS BROKEN ,SECOND ROOM TOILET WAS BROKEN ,FOOD WAS BAD HAD TO BUY MY OWN AND HAVE STAFF COOK IT ,NONE OF THE ACTIVITIES OR BARS WERE OPEN ONLY ONE BAR AND CHOICE OF LIQUOR WAS RUM OR VODKA NOT WHAT I EXPECTED THEY SAID NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE WERE BOOKED TO OPEN THE BARS AND NIGHT CLUB WHICH WHEN I BOOKED SAID THESE WERE OPEN NIGHTLY

Blindsided

Posted Apr 10, 2015
The staff were great, I feel for them. For an all inclusive we were subjected to recycled food from previous night and if they ran out of food, they wouldn't make more. This was cause of change in ownership. Staff and visitors suffered. Bathroom didn't work, leaked. Late night, channels on t.v. limited, drink pour were monitored by management. The staff wanted to treat us better but hands were tied.

Club NON-Ambiance

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Entertainment staff and the room was clean.
Cons: Hotel is dated. Needs to be updated and repairs fixed. Guest should not be allowed to approach bar naked and stay naked on nudist beach.
Location: Runaway Bay. The private beach is a ten minute bike ride which is better than the beach at the hotel.
Interesting mix of guest. I would not go back. Staff were nice but the place is dated and run down. Definitely not a 3 star resort. It has potential if the owner invested in repairs, maintenance and modernizing the resort.

friendly staff, out dated decor

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: away from the tourist areas of Jamaica but still safe not packed with guest allowed for a more of a friendly, personal and communal experience.
overall we had a good time. the planned activities allow for you to get to know other guest which makes it more of a friendly, personal and communal experience. Not all activities happen as listed. if you are looking for something low key, away from the tourist areas of Jamaica but still safe - this is the place. Things I would have like to known: only get wifi in the lobby no room service if the hotel calls a taxi it is $10 to $15 US but you can flag a local taxi for $1 US per person. overall we had a great time!

The positives were the weather and ocean. Food was mediocre and slim selection from bar.

Pros: The staff were nice. Beds were comfortable. Ladies kept the room clean. The view from every rooms balcony was nice.
Cons: The food.
It was a small resort, which we knew. However, the food was soooo disappointing. There were actually five warming dishes which consisted everynight of a fish dish, a chicken dish, rice, potatoes and normally the fith dish was empty. On the saute table one night had pasta which was pitiful, a pork roast one night and roast beef one night-nothing to get excited about. Breakfast consisted of a person making eggs and omelets (filling for omelet was hot dogs, veggies and cheese), meat was sausage every morning the rest of the breakfast items were not worth discussing. This was our sixth trip to Jamaica and never have we seen a presentation of food this disappointing.
