good thing about it is the locatPosted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: The location and the cleaning lady
Cons: The bathtub and the customer service
The good thing about this hotel was the location: close to grand central, rockefeller and 5th The bad: booked 2 double beds. checked in... surprise: 1 double bed. went back down. not the nicest receptionist who said even if we booked 2 double beds it was not guaranteed. which does not make sense when we paid for 2 double beds. Good thing this was resolved. The bathtub was horrible to take a shower in. From day 1, it was clogged and water would reach a bit lower than the calf level everyday.

Extremely noisy hotel but good locationPosted Oct 9, 2014
Cons: Too long a list. Almost everything.
Location: Great location- close to central park and museum mile.
We paid premium dollars via the expedia site only to be given what I would describe as a very small, noisy room backing the lift well. We had arrived at 11.45pm after a long flight but by 1pm we had to ask for another room as the noise was too much. We were shifted to another room which was even worse but could not be bothered to shift again as we were too tired. The hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of midtown but really needs an upgrade. The atmosphere is that of an old, tired pub.

Great location in NYCPosted Sep 23, 2014
My wife and I stayed for one night at this hotel. The prices you pay for hotels in the city are always very pricey. The staff were friendly and helpful, except for one person. The check in was fast, but as soon as we got in the room we were sooo disappointed with the room. It was right across the elevator, next to housekeeping, and no views at all! I was not going to be able to stay in this room considering the price I've paid, so I called front desk requesting to change the room, but this person just said they were 'full' and to check later for any 'last minute cancelation'. I told him that I could return later or pay extra for a different room. So I asked for any suggestion. His response was just 'check later' and 'enjoy the rest of your day'. But I went back downstairs and the lady at the front desk was able to change our room! So I don't understand how the gentleman on the phone wasn't able to find any other room??? Overall the room was ok, very standard room, nothing special, but with comfy king bed, and a nice shower.

Great location for all the main New York sitesPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Room, location and staff
Cons: Free wifi in rooms
Location: Location great for midtown attractions - easy walking distance to Rockafeller centre, Grand Central, 5th Avenue, Time Square and Centrel Park
Altough a littel prices and over budget, I would highly recommend this hotel for it's midtown location and quality of ammentities and staff. The doorman Patrick to care of all are needs, sorting out baggage storage, taxis and airport transfers. Booked a junior suites as 5 in party - plenty of room with two double beds and a separate room with pull-out sofa. Very comfortable.

Great location in Manhattan East.Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Location and Location.
Cons: Furnishings in room.
Location: Central to main attraction areas, walking distance to Broadway shows and to Central Park. Plenty of taxis in the area.
Hotel is not the most modern, but reasonable price, reasonable room size. Staff are very helpful.

Nice hotel on the upper east side.Posted Jul 9, 2014
Nice hotel on the upper east side of Manhattan. Close to great shopping and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of a Times Square. Front desk, doorman and concierge were very helpful and very friendly. The only slightly annoying thing was the bathroom smelled like mildew, kind of musty but it wasn't really a deal breaker

Room was clean and just what we needed. Bed was comfy and shower was strong. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Front desk people were nice. We stayed on the 6th floor, and the street noise was loud-thank goodness the A/C in the room was louder when it kicked on. Weird that extra toilet paper and hair dryer is kept in the room closet. Inroom coffee&tea nice, but we never had enough cups, stirrers or Splendas. Too many people "hanging out" at the entrance smoking-Not very welcoming. Doormen/porters outside just seemed a little unprofessional -they looked helpful when needed, but when they weren't working it was hard to tell they were employees.

Quiet hotel in midtown manhattan.Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location was excellent.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was overpriced. The bill for 3 people for 1meal cost over 120 dollars!
Location: Close to 5th Avenue and Grand Central station. Walking distance to Central and Bryant parks.
We stayed on the 28th floor with view of the riverine the distance.
