Put in a smoking room with no choice. No refund option. I was told the smoke smell was a new paint smell. Mold on the small shower...

Pros: WE DO NOT LIKE THE HOTEL.!!!
Cons: REDO THE WHOLE HOTEL.!!!
Shabby, Dreadful looking room.!!! Room looks unclean, a very small Analog TV , NO amenities at all , NO tissue in bathroom, NO dish container for soap, NO Hair Dryer, My husband has to go down to the Shabby Lobby & borrow a very old Hair Dryer with a price sticker of $4.99 still on the Dryer, Bathroom looks unclean , Towel Racks has splatters of paint on them, NO under sink Cabinet for Storage. NO Lamps on both sides of the Bed , only have 2 ceiling lights, Telephone is old & should only be used for Private Residence. It only has 2 Clothes Hangers, Toilet runs & has a Hissing sound every few minutes. The worst Hotel room we have ever stayed in .!!!!!! Thank goodness it is only for one night.!!!!!!!! I am surprise that EXPEDIA represents such a Terrible, Shabby Hotel.!!!

Pros: The price was right, and it was close to amenities needed for travelers
Cons: The overall quality of the room could have been "upgraded" rather than just "re-painted"
Location: There is a target across the way and a Denny's right next door. Try the coffe place on the other side, family owned and really good!
It's a cheap hotel, it's clean enough for one night stay. The staff is courteous enough; if you want brand recognition and level of service you literally have to pay. For one night passing through it was decent enough.

It took me one and a half hours to check in. The lady at the front desk was very rude. Delaying my time and others for her own selfish reasons. I bought my ticket online at 6, got there at 7:30 finally laid down in my room at 9. Asked for non smoking she tried to give me smoking. Asked for a refidgarater she get me a room with a broken on. And I got stuck in my bathroom due to un level door hinge. The guests. At the hotel were very nice so its a good area in my view. The morning clerk was very nice.

Sort of a dive

I had to stay there last minute, in the middle of the night because of business. I thought Thousand Oaks is a nice area, how bad can it be? They have indoor outdoor carpet, and several maintenance issues that I observed. Very old and dated, and getting them to answer the phone is very hard in the night. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the sheets felt fresh, so that was a plus. They have old school tv with no remotes, but it got several stations. So it was clean, but not up to any decent standard.

Older motel, but extremely clean with very comfortable bed. Perfect for place to sleep. If you want luxury, this is not for you, but this is excellent value if you are using your room for sleeping and organizing your excursions. Lovely staff helpful and pleasant. Will be staying there in future visits.
