“nice little hotel”

I would have given this a higher rating on service except that the front desk clerk (who both checked us in AND out the next morning) seemed to not understand how the CC system worked and charged two different credit cards a couple of times before she realized they had all gone through. HOWEVER - she immediately backed those out, gave me a receipt and told me to call if there were any lingering issues. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, the clock WORKED (including the alarm, which I've had problems with in the past.) Another plus is a 24/7 restaurant right next door! Nice little family type restaurant (think perkins or village inn).

“Great reasonable stay”

Parking lot had big potholes, but the overall stay was fine. Breakfast was adequate. Restaurant next door was excellent.

“Comfortable Motel”

I did specifically want a motel with a pool, so when I called Expedia to book the hotel they did say they had a pool. However the pool was closed due to renovation we discovered after checking in and walking down to look at the pool. That was a disappointment. The motel itself had a comfortable room. There was only a shower in the bathroom. The room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic - wide variety choices.

“Good Place to Stop”

Hotel not fancy, just a good place to rest for the night. Easy to get to the hwy. Nice 24 hr restuarant next door.

“We will stay here again in the future.”

It looked as if some remodeling was in progress, but it didn't affect the cleanliness of the motel. Our room was comfortable. The only downfall to this motel is that there is limited parking, but we had good timing and were able to park near the door.

“BIG let down, but okay for the money”

Got the room for very cheap especially on Memorial Weekend. BUT..very hard beds, noisy neighborhood and the pool was down for maintenance. My 9 and 5 year old kids are HUGE swimmers and gives mom/dad a chance to relax while they are swimming. Not happening this trip, luckily went to parks, Falls Park and Washington Pavilion to keep them occupied. Would not have been pretty if we had nothing to do. Could not get WIFI to work soconnected to Comfort Inn's WIFI next door. Very convenient location to Mall and Int 29 to get anywhere but noisy from motorcycles/fourwheelers reving at the bar next door and up and over the overpass next to the hotel at night. Okay for cheap rate but disappointed. Should be a way to mark on Expedia or the hotel website that a pool is down for the stay or any construction info. Good bisquits and gravy on the morning breakfast.

“Low-cost place for one-night stay”

Just needed a cheap place to stay for one nite, this fit the bill. Was under construction at the time, lots of plywood & building materials stacked up in the hallways, even some toilets. Carpet was solid sawdust. Our room was very small, bathroom quite tiny, but usable. Included microwave & mini-fridge, even though we didn't use them. Funky colors, bright yellow and green walls. The desk clerk directed us to a side entrance, which was deadbolted from the inside, had to go clear around to find a door that was open. Not enough plug-ins or they were hard to find, had to unplug microwave to plug in coffee pot.

“Not good.”

We were very disappointed in the service, and room on this trip. We had stayed in this motel in January, and had a good experience which is why we opted to stay there again. This time the first room had a huge fan sitting in it, so we were moved to another room. The queen sized bed was so close to the wall that it was impossible to get into bed from that side. The paint was chipped off of the wall, tile was coming up in the bathroom along the wall, and the shower was so tiny you could barely turn around in it. The clerk did not seem overly interested in our being there although she was polite, and did move us to a different room when we told her about the fan problem. Totally different attmosphere from when we stayed in January.

“Not worth it at all”

We took this hotel because of the pictures online. We thought it was going to be a nice hotel. The pool was really dirty and grouse. The hot tub was not even hot it was also dirty and grouse. You could not take any of the towels out of the pool area so you had to walk around wet. The beds felt like you were sleeping on a piece of plywood. They were really hard. The pillows were really flat and they would not give us any extras to make it more comfortable. The room smelled like mold. I was not very satisfied with the hotel experience at all. The staff were not freindly. Especially the overnight staff. She was very rude and not helpful at all. If I had to stay in Sioux Falls again that would be the last place I ever stayed.
