Among the Finest Hotel Experiences I Have Ever Had

Wow- amazing staff and facility. From the moment you walk into the lobby you feel as though each of the staff truly care about the service they provide you. The room was beautiful with every detail attended to. The bathroom had heated floors, the bed was amazing, the carpets and decor was all top quality. The spa was 5-Star, the work out facility was great, big windows all around to enjoy the city views as you exercise and the staff kept new bottles of water and fresh towels on each piece of equipment. The concierge staff was so helpful and gave me entry cards to get into clubs without the cover fees. And the bars/clubs took these cards with pleasure (which tells me the hotel pays well). I travel a lot and always stay at 5 Star hotels. This was one of the finest experiences I have ever had...

Top Hotel in Chicago

We’ve lived in the Chicago area most of our lives (some of the time in the city/some in the suburbs) and stayed in many hotels downtown. This hotel gets top marks for its efficient service, spacious rooms, lovely bathroom and fantastic hotel fitness center (with floor-to-ceiling windows that have great views of the city). Out-of-towners might not realize that you have to be careful with some hotels downtown -- the noise can be horrible if you’re too close to Michigan Avenue and/or the hospital. The Trump hotel is ideally located because it’s not right on Michigan Avenue but is in a great part of downtown-- lots of great restaurants, bars, etc, and just steps away from Nordstrom and its indoor mall, Bloomingdale’s home store, and everything else on Michigan Avenue.

new favorite Chicgo hotel

The location, size of the rooms and quality of the pool and spa make the Trump Towers our new favorite hotel in Chicago. We did not eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on that, and if it had not been for the Expedia special rate we would not have stayed here because of the price. But I am sure glad we did. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had cookies and milk waiting in the room upon arrival, how nice is that! Some of the views from around the hotel must be the best in the city.

A Wonderful Hotel Experience

Our stay here was a Christmas treat to ourselves and it was just perfect! The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, & beautifully designed & decorated. Having a kitchen area in the room was extremely convenient - loved the expresso-maker! The bathroom has to be my all-time favorite hotel bathroom. As for the hotel staff, everyone was professional, friendly, & helpful.

Beautiful Hotel

Hotel was beautiful. The room was larger than expected with elegant contemporary decor. The view of the river was amazing from the bar. Would love to stay again!

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend for our 1 year anniversary. The service was incredible. Everyone knew us by name. The room was beautiful and the bed was so very comfortable! The views are stunning. The pool was amazing and warm. The gym was beautiful! It was a splendid time and we will stay here again. The staff catered to our every need! It felt like the whole hotel knew it was our anniversary and treated us like royalty!

Amazing Experience-don’t stay anywhere else!

The trump Hotel was incredible! The staff was very friendly and very accomodating. This was my first time to Chicago and the location of the hotel could not have been better. My husband had been on business before but never for leisure. We were celebrating his 40th Birthday. Go out the front entrance to the right and soon you are on the Magnificent Mile...go to the left and you are minutes from the Theatre District and Pier Park. Our first room was on the "back side" of the hotel and did not have the view I had hoped for. I called the front desk and explained that I had specfically requested a river/lake view. Within 15 minutes, my request to change rooms was met & we had a wonderful view of the city/river/lake from the 20th floor. After my reservation had time to show up on the hotel’s books from Expedia, I called to note that my husband and I were coming to town to celebrate his big 4-0. When we returned from dinner our first night, along with our turn-down service, we were greeted by a yummy chocolate covered mousse w/fresh raspberries dessert and birthday card w/a hand written note from the VP & Managing Director. In a hotel that size and with many people spending much more money there than we were that weekend, it was such a nice detail. It was a special touch that left us smiling! I hope to visit Chicago again and if I can repeat the "deal" I got from Expedia on the room, I will for sure be staying at the Trump International Hotel and Tower.

Chicago’s Best Hotel

Trump has done it again.....the Trump Tower in Chicago is awesome! Pricey, but worth the value. Very comfortable, and the food was great at the restaurants. Everything, even McDonald’s, for the little ones is within walking distance. Perfect location to shopping and when the river walk is complete, it will be fantastic. Loved the little "extras", he really knows how to please his clients. Overall it was fantastic - bravo to Trump, a lovely hotel.

We drove in, so we had asked for an early check-in.....they accomodated us with no problem, and our room was ready when we arrived. That was wonderful. They also have a later check out then most hotels....that is awesome, for people like me trying to get rested and still have a good time in the city.

Chi-towns Best!

From the minute my wife and I arrived we were treated like VIP’s, the room service was excellent and would arrive minutes after ordering. The views from the Spa level down to Michigan Ave were absolutely spectacular. The hotel is magnificent inside and out and is perfectly located to explore all of downtown with most attractions only minutes away. The staff was great! I had never been in a trump owned hotel before but now I can’t wait to go back! thanks again.

A real pleasure

The Trump Chicago lives up to the Trump name, in providing a gorgeous room with terrific amenities, a magnificent view, and right near everthing you would want to do in Chicago. The stay was entirely perfect! However, I have to admit I was stunned in leaving their parking garage - the rate for our 18-hour stay was well above the Chicago standard, for no reason I can explain. I suggest parking in any of the garages that are close by if you’re not going to valet.

Everything exceeded our expectations!

This was my first visit to a Trump hotel....it exceeded my expectations in every way and believe me...that’s not easy to do!!!

Should be a 6 star hotel! Very impressed!

The staff was warm and friendly. Atomosphere, eligant yet comfortable. Resturant was more than a little pricey for what you got, but no complaints on anything else. We will go back again and again! Now if I could just figure out how to pay for a condo on the 20 floor, my life would be complete! LEM

Great hotel not so great restaurant

The hotel is probably the best in Chicago, It is brand new and well decorated. It has built in kitchen and great floor plan. The room has great selection of goodies that will cost you a fortune including water with very fancy bottles if you consume it. Whatever you do, don’t make the mistake at eating in the hotels restaurant. The food is mediocre but more importantly very little. The appetizer was one bite and the main dish two bites. The waiters spend a lot of time telling you every ingredient in the meal but you will need a magnifier glass to see it. Two people with one bottle of vine no desert, over three hundred dollars.

Service with a Smile

Spacious rooms, outstanding service, perfect location (walking distance to shops, restaurants and the river) and great spa! You can’t ask for more. There is a lot of competition in the hotel business and the Trump Organization knows how to set its hotels apart from the rest -- SERVICE, SERVICE and more great CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The Architectural Boat Tour is a must. I’ve done it 5 times and it is a new experience each time due to the wonderful tour guides. If you take the Wendella, make sure to grab a cheese burger at the Billy Goat Tavern (truly a fun experience),

The Don Delivers

The Trump International Hotel is an outstanding and marvelous hotel. The service and rooms were absolutely impeccable. From check in to room service late one night, all of the hotel employees were on top of their game and we never had to wait for service. While the hotel does not sit directly on Michigan Ave., it has a direct walk that drops you right in the heart of shopping. And honestly, that made our room much more quiet. (You’d be surprised how often we’ve been up at night with sirens and horns blaring from down on the street in other hotels.) The decor is modern 40s if there even is such a thing -- it’s a gorgeous hotel and you won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is located on the Mag Mile... and incredible place for shopping... friends often fly here just to go shopping. It’s also just minutes from where the local theaters are (Chicago gets an amazing amount of top-quality broadway productions) and you could easily walk to them. Also, within walking distance is Chicago’s Millennium Park -- which hosts the famous "bean". If you’re visiting during the winter, there’s ice skating in the park. During the summer, there’s a wonderful restaurant to grab a drink outside and enjoy some live music. Don’t miss it. Also, if you’re traveling with family, go to the Navy Pier... skip all of the cheesiness of the place. It’s the views from the Ferris Wheel that people can’t stop talking about.

Fantastic Hotel

This hotel is fantastic! Service was awesome and friendly. Room was spacious and very nice. Dimmers on every light switch, electric curtains, wireless internet, very nice HDTV. Would highly recommend!

What you would expect from Trump

Excellent service. I was in town for a medical procedure and spent the majority of three days in the room. The service was excellent & room food great. The bell staff was very helpful in getting me ice for my knee and carrying my wife’s many packages from shopping up to the room. Will return.

Luxury and Pampering Experience

Wonderful stay, great location, outstanding room. This was one of the best hotel rooms we have ever enjoyed, the bed was a dream, awesome thread count and luxury, turn down service was a delight as if they tucked us in every night, the bath/ spa area was so relaxing. We loved every minute of our stay.

Traveler's tip on dining

Must see and dine at the 95th Floor of the Hancock Building for a wonderful view and dining experience.

Expected more

The hotel has good level of service and ideal location. However, we expected something more fancy for this price - more stylish room design for example. In my opinion, fully equipped kitchen in the room is not necessary, especially if the room does not have a dedicated dining area. Bathroom is nice though. However, in general, we were not impressed and will choose 4 Seasons next time.
