Good location, Poor Service

Hotel was very pretentious. Most of the staff (except housekeeping) seemed to feel they were to good to be there. Lobby bartender clearly didn’t want to be serving others. Great location to shopping and food, if you can put up with the attitude.

Luxury Hotel

Everything was perfect in this hotel. The room was very clean and with a lot of complimentary items (even dental floss!). Big flat tv panel, slippers, bathrobes, free internet, bathtub and shower. The only poor-quality thing was... the hairdryer. From this hotel I would have expected a luxury hairdrier instead of a cheap conair scratched and old dryer.

Great location, service and confortable beds.

Nice location, not many views

The rooms were very nice, the service was great, and the location was ideal. The only negative was the lack of views in a city where there are many other hotels with great view rooms. Tough one for the Conrad to fix, so if you want to be near Michigan Ave, Rush street, Nordstorms, etc. this is a very nice place to stay

Staff was great; room - not so much

Nothing wrong with the hotel, just expected something more with the room for the price and for a 4-5 star hotel. Didn’t feel it was worth the money spent. Biggest complaint was that my room faced an office building, so we would have had to keep the blinds completely closed for privacy. However, staff was great and helped me find another room that wasn’t as bad. Room was a standard room like any other hotel, although the bathroom was nicer.

Probably not worth renting a car, as they charge fifty bucks for valet parking and self parking is thirty-five a day.

Worth Every Penny

Excellent service. Wonderful food. Great Location. GOod beds! What else can one ask for? Also, a nice shopping mall is attached to the hotel, so you have the walk way to just go there. Nordstroms cafe offers affordable deals on breakfast and lunch which are better than the hotel restaurant’s pice

JERSEY BOYS Show was awesome. Arhcitectural River Boat Tour (Chicalo Line) is a must. Navy Pier, only if you like the carnival-like atmosphere, ferris wheel, etc. Giordano’s Chicago Style pizza.....the best. Field Museum and Art Institute a must as well. TIP FOR HANDICAPPED: all public transportation buses are accesible with ramps.

Best location for shopping!!!!

We stayed at the Conrad hotel and it far exceeded our expectations!!! This was the best located hotel for shopping, it had a walkway to Nordstrom. Service was great, terrace restaurant was delicious and pillows were amazingly comfortable.

Take a arcitectural cruise it is well worth your money and by far the best cruise of the city!!!

Excellent Location

The hotel is very clean and the location is excellent. It is downtown yet still quiet. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Loved the fact that there were free Conrad-branded water bottles in the room--it’s so hard to find free drinking water in your room at such hotels. One drawback is the bed; it is not very comfortable nor are pillows. The management should check out Marriott’s beds and pillows.

Fabulous hotel in Chicago

This hotel was the most fantastic place to stay! I was with my family staying here while attending a conference. The hotel was very close to everything you could ever want, all the shops and restaurants on the Mag Mile. The service was excellent, the room unbelievable, the TV and sound system impressive. Bathroom is beautiful. The staff surprised us by bringing in a rollaway bed for my 17 year old (he was sharing the bed with his younger sis) - I don’t know how they even knew! I will definitely stay here again and again!

Beware of the very expensive parking ($36 daily if you get front desk to validate ticket). Also, you need to know that the lobby is on the 5th floor...

This was a great hotel in Downtown Chicago. The room was modern, clean, quite and very nice location.

Great location

The Conrad Chicago is centrally located, walking distance to many tourist destinations and restaurants. It’s very clean, quiet, and the staff was professional. This is a place I would send my folks... not so much for a younger crowd.

Very Classy!

I booked a room at the Conrad for my mother’s 67th birthday for her to have a day of R & R. The hotel is beautiful, the staff was friendly, The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows are amazingly comfortable. There is a 42 inch flat panel tv on the wall, the bathroom was huge and to top it off, the staff sent a 2 free bottles (they’are actually sealed glasses) of water, a fruit tray, and a birthday card. Nice touch!

I was so totally pleased with my room, the service, the bed, the bathroom, I could go on and on. This will be the ONLY place I stay when I travel to Chicago. Thanks Expedia and the Conrad!!!

Please check out the Navy Pier and the Shedd Aquarium. The Navy Pier is just a quick 15 min walk from this hotel and the aquarium is a quick bus ride away!

Great location!

Excellent hotel. The rooms were very confortable. The hotel lobby is at the fifth floor but has a direct door which leads you into the next door mall and then into the Magnificent mile. The location is just perfect for leisure and shopping. I will certainly go back.

Nice hotel

Great location, good service, nice rooms. First hotel I’ve stayed where the bed is more comfortable than my own. If they had something laid out for breakfast, this place would pretty much have it all.

Conrad Hilton is in a great location, right off the river and a block from Michigan Ave. Everything was just right.

Pleasantly surprised

Impressed with amenities, cleanliness, updated rooms, responsiveness to needs ie., remote batteries & a light needed to be changed/replaced & was done immediately, (unlike many 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in).

We were definitely pleased

We wanted to get away overnight and chose the Conrad. The hotel is within walking distance from Magnificient Mile and plenty of restaurants. Navy Pier and Millenium Park is just a mile away. The hotel staff were professional and friendly. The hotel was absolutely beautiful.

Young children may not enjoy the menu at the hotel restaurants. We choose to eat downtown (and we’re in our mid-thirties). Don’t pick up anything in the mini-bar unless you plan to use it. The mini-bar has a sensor - if you pick up an item, you get charged for it. The front desk removed the items from my bill with no fuss.

Centrally Situated Hotel

This hotel is hidden away beside Magnificent Mile at top of shopping arcade housing Nordstrom. Excellently situated for both shopping and sightseeing. Spacious rooms with friendly helpful staff.Parking available.

The Conrad is a great place to stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The front desk employees were always helpful. We received a $100 credit and used it on the Terrace for drinks and food.

Buca resturant is around the corner. The food is good, large quantities and priced very reasonably. We tried the Steak House (Stefanie’s) down the street. The food was not worth the price that we paid.

Everything about the Conrad was top notch! The staff was friendly and helpful, and responded quickly to special requests.

The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Great restaurant on site, plus located on the fifth floor above The Shops at North Bridge.
