“We happened upon this quaint resort on a weekend to the Keys. What a great spot! It is not on one of the main keys but is close to Key West and other fun locations. The resort had hammocks to relax in, a pool, docks, outdoor activities and a small breakfast (don't plan on filling up on it if you are hungry though). “The property is very well maintained considering its age, and the location is perfect—just steps away from Duval Street and the harbor. I deducted one star because, given the traditional style of the house, it lacks impact-resistant windows to block out noise, and the roosters woke me up very early. “It was fine. The negatives were a very small shower with inadequate water pressure. The room was small but fine if you are only there to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the small refrigerator was nice. The shared balcony again was fine. The poor and surrounding area was not kept clean of leaves and dirt. Overall, fine but the conditions and amenities did not support the price of the room.”
