We booked a king room, but were given a double queen. We were not told about the change in our room until we arrived at our actual hotel room. When we called down to ask about it, the clerk lied and said he'd told us at the desk that they'd changed our reservation. He also said he'd told us that the room was handicap-accessible (which wasn't a problem, but he never actually told us about it). My husband went back down to talk to the clerk, who tried to tell my husband he didn't hear the conversation between the clerk and myself because he was outside - which was another lie. My husband was standing right beside me the entire check-in and didn't go out to the car until the clerk gave us our parking pass and we were done at the desk. We were not offered a discount, refund, or anything to compensate us for not getting the room we booked. Overall, I'm very disappointed in our booking.
