It was dejecting and especially so since this was the most expensive and best looking place we booked during our vacation. The first night was really stressful as the smell really bothered me, I even tried to find a different place to stay in the area. “The ocean views were stunning. It is a beautiful location, very quiet at the top of a hill overlooking Brookings OR and the Pacific Ocean including some local “haystacks”. Although it’s not a full kitchen we were able to cook breakfast, which is important to us. The owners were easy to communicate with, entering the property was easy. The bed was the most comfortable mattress we have had on our travels. Wonderful location.”

“Location was awesome. Comfortable furniture in living room. Beds were great. Oven did not work good enough to cook frozen pizza. Toaster did not work. Cupboards in kitchen were filthy dirty. I used dish towel to open them so I didn’t have to keep washing my hands. Burners on kitchen stove did not work well to heat water for my tea. Great views. Bathroom was very clean. Shower faucet knob was hard to use. Kitchen sink spray gave me an unexpected shower. There is no place close to get food except……

“The good: nice big place with big lot, plenty of space for family. New and updated appliances and fixtures. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and multiple TVs for entertaining in the evening or bad weather. Easy access to local beaches and areas of interest. It appeared clean. The bad. I moved the coffee pot in the morning to fill it with water and several roaches scurried for cover. When I opened the front door at night a bunch of earwigs made a dash inside and I had to stomp them. I also……
