“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel’s Nest B&B. Built on the highest point in Parker County, this is a lovely Victorian home built in 1890s with vintage furnishings, but with up to date amenities. A/C, electricity, TV, etc. Comfy king size bed, delicious breakfast, clean, welcoming staff, wonderful wrap around porch perfect for sitting outside viewing for miles while enjoying a gentle breeze. Free parking on the property. ”

“Loved staying here! Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was immaculate and delicious. Bed was comfy too and the free crazy water was a huge perk! Only thing to be aware of is that the property is an older building so it does show. Staff and food make up for it in my book though!”

“Damp, musty smell. Carpet should be removed. I wonder if the upstairs units are the same? I'd like a lake view next time. I will be coming bk in Sept for an extended stay & would like a Lake view.”

“This is an amazing place to stay. Fishing was great. The property and cabins are beautiful and well maintained. Enjoyed the variety of wildlife there. Jim Attrell, the ranch owner was very pleasant and kept us very well informed of what we needed to do prior to our arrival with lots of useful information to enhance our experience. His ranch managers, Dom and Carol go above and beyond to make the stay at Lake Godstone unforgettable. Loved the golf cart/ ATV to get around the beautiful trails and……

“Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. Room and BR extremely clean and quiet. No need……
