“Staff were kind and friendly. Food was good in the bar but over priced. My room was grubby, the bedding and bathroom were clean but there was dust and dirt on the ledges and windowsills. No shower gel in the bathroom either. I was also above the kitchen there was lots of banging about outside and a constant humming/droning from what sounded like extractor fans. This did stop around 9pm but then started up again at 10pm. It was really quite loud, I could still hear it when I had my headphones...

“Great location right next to the market place, plenty of choice for food and drink. Nearby parking could be issue gets busy but long stay car park few minutes walk away and well priced. Everything you need, comfy bed, bathroom suite in keeping with the room however we would prefer an actual proper shower. Breakfast offering very good would have made it luxury if offering of pastries. Nigel and other staff are brilliant and welcome drink offered with early room checking which was a bonus for us.”

“Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.”
