“Our stay at Hotel Gran Ciasa was one of the highlights of our Italy vacation. The surroundings are beautiful and you can enjoy them from anywhere within the hotel. You really feel like you are in the mountains, especially in the hot tub and relax rooms. The room was spotless and cozy, the bed a welcome comfort after some nights on very hard mattresses, and the bathroom spacious and luxurious. We recommend the full pensione. The food and recommended wine pairings were delicious and I don't think……

“Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. Lucia gave us an amazing hike recommendation……

“1. Overall condition, facilities and service were excellent. 2. Some items have rooms for improvement as follows: - wellness facilities are only from 16:00 to 20:00 which are too short and have no flexibility. - the wellness facilities, except for outdoor spa, should not have swimming suit. It is extremely embarrassing to have sauna with naked men. We saw many naked men walked everywhere in wellness centre that were terrible and embarrassing!! All we can do was to wait until all men gone then……

“We have stayed other places on the Dolomites, but the La Tambra Lodge was perfect; we will be back! The facilities are new, clean, and very well attended to by the staff. The breakfast is delicious and varies slightly day to day. The location is great to access a local style Monte Pana chair, or walk about 10 minutes to the base of Saslong. Overall an incredible stay!”
