2 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2 - Map
"In the heart of southside Dublin"
This was our second stay at the Fitzwilliam, and we chose it because we were spending just two nights there. The room was small but had a lovely view overlooking St. Stephen's Green. The bathroom had a large tub and great amenities. We were very comfortable and would go there again, even for a longer stay.

Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2 - Map
"Perfect location for city break"
Chose due to proximity to concert hall (directly opposite) but turned out to be perfect location for everything! Just round corner from aircoach bus stop so very easy to get to and from airport. 2 mins walk to st Stephens green- beautiful city park which then leads into grafton street. We also went to rugby at lansdowne road and walked back! About 30 mins walk but it was a lovely sunny evening, all on the flat and we just followed the crowds! Also only 10 min walk to the hop on hop off bus stops, which take you to the zoo, Guinness storehouse etc. We had room service one evening...a bit pricey but very tasty. About 45 euros for a pizza and a pasta dish. Room was clean, twin beds were large and comfy and giant marshmallow pillows that meant we slept really well (especially after all the walking) The only downside was our view...... Basically had some kind of generator right outside window but no noise issue and with the 'nets' pulled over it really didn't matter. Also, we must have been on the first section of the cleaning rota, maid knocked at 9am on first morning which was a little early! Overall a fabulous, sumptuous city centre hotel but on a quiet road (no pubs immediately nearby) with GREAT pillows!

"A hotel that lives up to it's rating"
Wouldn't normally stay in hotel of this standard but with offer that was available glad I booked it. A little bit out of Dublin but still easy to get to by public transport. Staff that we came across were very helpful. Did not eat there partly due to cost. Very impressed by facilities in the room.

"All staff helpful & friendly. Lovely hotel"
We stayed for an event and were impressed with the ease of arrival by public transport from the city and the friendliness we were greeted with. Rooms spacious and well equipped (I get frustrated by things such as hair dryers tied down, no such approach here!). Helpful at breakfast - we joined a friend on a twin table and they were prompt about adding another place and it was no hassle. Knowledgeable on check out as to our transport options

we stayed here for two nights, the hotel is awesome. we had afternoon tea in the Lord Mayors room this is an experience in its self. and the tea, you have to try the irish cream tea.. we also had dinner in The Saddle Room, I personally would say a little over priced but the food is fantastic. Breakfast please please try the eggs benedict it is fantastic and there is more than enough choice even for the picky eaters. would i stay again Yes for longer. The staff are a credit to the hotel they are kind, courteous and very helpful.

"One of the best hotels in Ireland"
This is one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 2-week trip to Ireland. Everything was first rate - the room, the restaurant, the staff, and location. As hotel guests, we could walk on a bunch of hiking trails, one of which was the RIVER WALK - absolutely beautiful. And also the Powerscourt Garden is just next door - a must see attraction.
