“Clean and tidy; the staff was very well equipped and helpful. The hotel feels 'luxurious' certainly. However the design is a bit odd throughout the lobby and main spaces - they feel a bit disjointed. The menu at the bar for dinner was interesting - too small to have good basics. Too funky really - even the cocktails were a little too odd. That would be my only complaint.”

“The stay was fine. I guess I'm just over paying for "names" when the room quality is no different, and perhaps worse, than, say, the new boutique hotel down the street. I think a lot of these old prestige name hotels are resting on their laurels and feel they don't have to update their rooms to compete (the sofa in my room was stained for example..not a huge deal but unexpected for a WA).
