We had an initial issue with the fireplace, and the bathroom shower area was cold. The water would never get hot enough either. "We’ve been staying at this hotel almost every year for about the last six. It’s always been an outstanding property. I have to say this year I noticed quite a bit of deterioration of the property. The carpets and chairs in the lobby are badly stained, and it appeared the A/C wasn’t working either. The landscaping on the front side of the building is nothing but overgrown weeds. The toilet in our room ran constantly. Granted this didn’t necessarily impede our stay, but it doesn’t present the place too well. I’m not sure if ownership has changed or what caused this. The room itself seemed clean and the staff was pleasant."
