“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
“This was the sweetest little inn! We stayed three nights and had a great stay. Very clean and well stocked. The dinners were the best! Loved the food and the beers and bar. The staff were very kind, accommodating our change in arrival time and letting us get in for dinner just before the kitchen closed after a long day at Skye. Definitely recommend staying.”
“The hotel was in agood position and the food was excellent. The room was adequate and good value for money although it was hard work taking my case up to the top floor as there was no lift and I am 76 years old! We arrived on the train from Glasgow and after 3 oclock check in it would have been nice to have at least been able to have had a drink.”
