GUYS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
SHOW NO RESPECT TO DOGS & THEIR OWNERS!!!
I’ve stayed at many Red Roof Hotels in NY and New England mostly because of their dog friendly policies and also convenient locations.
I’ve usually had good experiences with OTHER Red Roof Hotels.
HOWEVER, this Red Roof is so far the most disappointing place ever because of the fact that they have EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE and also this place SHOWS NO RESPECT to dogs and their owners despite the Red Roof Chain is self claimed to be great for dogs.
The front desk employee is a skinny young guy with darker skin tone.
As soon as I walked towards the counter, he gave me a cold irritated look and scolded me that I needed to wait for my turn.
As he was helping the guest in front of me, he looked over from the counter and asked my name. This was very unprofessional because he wasn’t even done with helping the other guest.
When I was checking in, I told him we have a dog. He became VERY VERY VERY RUDE AND HARSH to me.
He asked me, “ How big is your dog? “
I said, “He’s about 70lbs.”
He continued to interrogate me and said, “How big is he ? Show me!”
I said, “ You guys have a policy that dogs under 80lbs can stay and my dog is not over the limit.”
He showed extreme aggression to me and said, “Just let you know if your dog causes trouble, you could be made vacant ( be evacuated).
I’ve never encountered such a bad customer service from any hotel in my life an
