"Beautiful property but dated, basic rooms. The property inside, dining area and lawn were beautiful. I wish we stayed longer to take advantage of the amenities on the water and views! The rooms however are very dated in the main hotel and the beds weren’t very comfortable. Staff were helpful and on-site restaurant was good for a nicer meal"

"Diane is a very sweet person. Her place is very cute and eclectic. We think she may be having some recent issues. The wet mattress downstairs and the mouse that told us good morning were a little more than expected. We appreciate the pets being around just not all over our clothes from one night. It is a good place with a little clean up."

"The view was beautiful. The staff were nice. The room had ONE small towel bar in the bathroom. No other place/hook/closet for hanging anything including wet outer wear from hiking, or coats or towels and washcloths. No hooks or hangers anywhere in the room. For a place near the rain forest and the beach, places to hang things to dry should be a requirement. The dining room and meal were very good. However, it only served dinner. The only other restaurants required driving several miles to another city for food and groceries."

"We came to the area for a wedding and loved being able to relax in this house. We woke up to otters playing in the water and beautiful sunrises over the mountains and the lake. Walking along the water and close to hiking was great. We would love to spend more time here."
