The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. "Amazing setting, very picturesque property. Our room was situated within a small rock face, it was absolutely amazing. Very well equipped and the sauna and hot tub was a luxurious touch! Great base for exploring nearby Amboise, about a 5-10 minute drive. Perfect!"
"We had a wonderful time here! We stayed in the family room which was perfect for our family of four. The elevator made it easy to bring our baggage upstairs. We enjoyed eating the continental breakfast on the patio outside each morning and loved relaxing by the pool after exploring during the day. Laurent at reception was helpful in case of any questions we had."
"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"This is a great value hotel that I stayed at with my family during our drive back to the UK from the south of France. The hotel itself is located at 25 minute walk from the centre of Amboise: we walked in and had a lovely meal and walk around the town, which is very beautiful.
We had four bicycles attached to our car and had some concerns about security during our holiday, but the parking at this hotel is very secure so there were no problems leaving our bikes locked to the car.
Our room had a great view of the Château, which was a nice surprise.
My only criticism is that for breakfast the plates provided are extremely small. It would be nice to have larger plates!
