We stayed there in June and the sun is out for about 18 hours a day, but our room did not have black-out curtains which made it more difficult to get a good night's sleep.
I enjoyed my short stay here. Hotel and rooms are super clean which appreciated. Rooms are small and I couldn't get the Roku TV working, but no complaints.

Traveling with all your gear with you can be pricey and heavy, depending on how you're getting to Anchorage. If you forgot some necessary equipment, check out REI Store for ski boots and outerwear. Once you have made all the required purchases, you'll be ready to make your way to the top of the hills. Hopefully you and your thrill-seeking pals will get to do some shredding on an epic bluebird powder day, or a morning when there's fresh snow on the ground. There's nothing like the enlivening feeling of carving down the mountains on the green, blue, or black diamond slopes. If your group hasn't been skiing before, ask your concierge to see if they offer ski lessons, in case you want to avoid catching an edge.
Once you arrive at your ski hotel, see if the concierge knows what else there is to do in Anchorage. There might be some kid-friendly activities, such as roasting s'mores over a bonfire, board games at the hotel, nearby movie theaters, or bowling alleys. They might be able to give you some adults-only things to do as well, like a spa on the hotel property, a dance club in the city, or a cozy bar with cocktails to warm you up. When you decide to call it a day, you will have a freshly-made bed and a room full of amenities to help you have a relaxing night. Book soon before those fantastic conditions and great rates melt away!
