This absolutely charming cottage can be yours for an affordable vacation in the sun! Nestled in an alcove of cottages tucked away by the bay in the village of Anna Maria, this adorable two-bedroom, one-bath cottage is filled with Old Florida charm!

Twin Dolphins Cottage was recently remodeled with an eye to maximizing charm and comfort, including an updated kitchen and bath, bead board finishes, and cozy furnishings.
The master bedroom features a king size bed and SMART TV, while the guest bedroom offers a queen bed. The living room offers guests a larger SMART TV with all the benefits of Roku (not sure what that is? Check out Comfortable seating makes the living room the perfect spot for reading a good book, watching a movie, or playing a game.

The galley kitchen features the basics of what you'll need to prepare delicious meals at home...perhaps fresh seafood that you pick up in Cortez and then grill in the shaded back yard! The private patio is sure to be a favorite spot for enjoying dinner al fresco.

Although this little cottage features its own parking spot right out front, this might be the time to experience an old-fashioned, really simple beach vacation! Explore the Island on foot or take the free Island Trolley wherever you need to go. The northern terminus of the trolley is located just around the corner at the historic Anna Maria City Pier. The world-famous Waterfront Restaurant is just two doors down, in the heart of the village of Anna Maria. You'll find more shops, restaurants, community theater, and lovely white-sand beaches in every direction.

When you're staying at this charming little gem, all you'll need is your flip flops, shorts, and bathing suit...you CAN afford to live the simple life on Anna Maria Island.

Relaxing get away
The house was very cute. Location of this house couldn’t have been better. Super close to restaurants, pier, shopping and the beach. Love the vibe of riding bikes or golf carts to get around. Outside seating area of the house front and back was nice. Definitely would rent again.

Stayed for 9 nights and had a wonderful time. Twin dolphin is a clean, cute, and cozy place to stay. Very convenient area for walking. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it.

Property was adorable, clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable, living room was great, there is a back yard table and grill. Our only issue was an unlit parking area. We did not have a vehicle and it was very dark in that area for walking thru after dark to get to our place. Several great places within a short walking distance. VRBO was great to deal with for planning our long weekend girls get-a-way for 3 generations.

Great Location
It's perfect for two-three people in our opinion. It's a quaint, cute, clean, little place. Wonderful location, close to the pier, and to restaurants. We didn't realize that the washer and dryer were outside (although listed on a map). We feel They could add a photo that shows the laundry area a bit better. They need an upgrade on the toilet for it looks a bit dated. Besides those things, we certainly enjoyed our stay and had a great week.

Wonderful anniversary stay

Grandparents Cottage
We rented this property for our parents to stay in on our beach vacation. We stayed with our children in a house one block away. This cute little cottage was perfect for the grandparents. It was comfortable for them and located close to shops to take the grandkids to get treats. We would rent it again.

We enjoyed staying at the twin dolphins. The only draw back was the house never really cooled down. I live in Houston and my house is always cool. At night we were all sweating. There is a note on the a/c noting it cannot go below 72.

Location! Location! Location!
The location is the star here! We were so pleased with the size, appearance, cleanliness, and ease of check-in associated with this property and could not get over how perfect the location is. On the same street and just a very short walk from the cottage, you will find The Waterfront Restaurant, the pier, a gift shop, and an ice cream shop. In the other direction, also not too long of a walk, you have The Sandbar Restaurant (a beachfront restaurant/ bar) and a beach entrance. The grill worked perfectly, the kitchen was fully stocked with almost everything you need so you don't have to bring too much, and the towels provided were plenty. The size of the rooms were just right, the living room was spacious, and the front/back patios were some of our favorite places to have dinner or sip on some morning coffee. Parking was never an issue either!! The only reason I would not give this property a full five stars was because there was a bit of a mix up prior to our arrival when we informed the management company we would be bringing our sweet baby girl (9mo old puppy) and that we were more than fine with the pet fee. The management company told us we could not bring her because the cottage was a "no pet" listing and I had to provide a screenshot of the listing where it said: small dogs only. This created quite a bit of stress for us since we had specifically only looked for pet friendly rentals knowing that boarding her for too many days was not likely an option. We weren't sure what to do if we could not take her at all since it was a no-refund rental. It was resolved not long after but I just found it odd that the management company would not know what was on their listing. I am thankful that the owners were flexible and that it was all resolved shortly thereafter but didn't really appreciate being told that an exception would be made just this once. An exception was not being made, we made the reservation based on the fact that the listing said our dog was welcome; that's not an exception. Again, the cottage was great and I think the mix up had more to do with the management company than the property or the owners so I would definitely rent again and would recommend to friends and family. I hope future renters enjoy as much as we did.

Sweet Cottage
This cottage is adorable with an attractive beach vibe. We enjoyed the back yard and having the new gas grill was a nice plus. Bed and linens were heavenly giving a peaceful nights sleep and an overall restful vacation. The location of the cottage is closer to the Bay than the Gulf so if you’re an avid beachgoer renting a golf cart could come in handy. Being on the Bay is different with lots of opportunities to see and experience a different side of a beach vacation. The cottage is well-equipped and very clean with a good supply of cleaning supplies at the ready if needed. Overall I highly recommend Twin Dolphins when in AMI.

A Long-Awaited Birthday Celebration on Anna Maria Island
We were incredibly excited to arrive at the island. After a few years of a lot of obstacles for both couples (loss of parents, breast cancer) as well as getting children through college (and married), we were finally able to break away for a week to celebrate 50th birthdays. One of us had been on the island before. The rest of us had not. We had the best time. The house was absolutely perfect—giving us an opportunity to cook at home or grill out while also giving us immediate access to the Pine Street restaurants (and the Waterfront is only a few doors down). The newly remodeled accommodations were perfect for this beach setting. We were within walking distance to rentals and took advantage of this to bike when we could. We even rented a golf cart for our last day. What we all really love about Anna Maria Island is that it is just the right blend of beach, relaxation, and commerce. Nothing too gimmicky or cheap. It really was the perfect place to celebrate our birthdays, a cancer-free diagnosis, and 30+ years of friendship. Thank you for being part of this.

Loved the cottage, it was perfect for us
My husband and I were first time visitors to Anna Maria and we love it. We live in SC and have beautiful beaches here but the white sand and blue water is awesome in Anna Maria! The two bedroom cottage we stayed in was perfect. The cottage is decorated very tastefully and was very clean. The amenities were very accommodating and we were very pleased. We also enjoyed the shady back yard patio area with a grill. I would highly recommend this property for a wonderful vacation get away on Anna Maria.

Perfect location
Location was absolutely perfect! Walked to the beach and restaurants every day. So lovely ❤️ Although bathroom could have used some upgrading, wasn’t private enough ( solid door would be wonderful) and back patio, front of home( view to other house wasn’t ideal) could use some freshening up, but overall, place was very charming and clean!!! Very pleased with our stay. Anna Maria island is definitely an amazing area!!!! We look forward to our next trip there :)
