Die Wohnung ist zwar nur klein, aber was braucht man auch anderes für den Urlaub. Man ist eh die gesamte Zeit unterwegs!Die Wohnung ist spartanisch eingerichtet. Ein Teller mehr und etwas besseres Besteck wären wünschenswert, aber was erwartet man für den Preis. Einen kleinen Minuspunkt gibt es in der Bewertung der Dauberkeot. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Anlage mit vielen Hunden und Katzen und auch wenn die Schilder darauf hinweisen, fühlen sich einige Anwohner nicht für die Hinterlassenschaften ihrer Tiere zuständig. So hatten wir in der Ecke des Flures tagelang Hundewürstezu liegen, die auch mehr wurden und an unserem Abreisetag hat auch noch ein Hund direkt an die Wohnungstürecke gepullert. Das muss nicht sein! Nachdem wir Ana das per WA geschrieben haben, hat sie der Verwaltung geschrieben und es wurde was gegen die Hinterlassenschaften getan. 2 Tage später lagen wieder neue Kothaufen da. Wir wissen, dass der Gastgeber hierfür nichts kann, aber den Eindruck der Sauberkeit beeinflusst das dann doch!Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin hat gut geklappt. We stayed here last year and it was wonderful which is why we chose to stay again this year. Booking and check in was fairly streamlined. When we arrived there was quite a smell from the drains and a cover of dust, the shower cubicle surround was very marked, the floors needed mopping, the fridge needed cleaning and the towels which were beautifully white and fluffy last year were quite grey. Consequently we did a clean before we unpacked, this required a trip to Hiper Dino and we put the towels on to wash and bought bleach for the drains. There was only one set of bedding which was on the bed so if we needed clean sheets, we had to wash them and they would be dry for our return in the evening. As we stayed for 16 nights I would have hoped for a spare set. In addition the pillows did not have covers on and were quite stained. The apartment is very well stocked and has good WiFi and a smart tv however the sofa (which I assume is a sofa bed) is covered with a nylon cover which is not particularly comfortable or inviting. The apartment is very secure and the swimming pool is super. Unfortunately lots of residents have dogs and cats but don’t appear to pick up after them so there was quite a lot of dog mess this time and one resident left his dog out and it barked all night. The location is perfect, plenty of restaurants nearby and a great bus service. The kitchen units are really modern and plenty of hot water is available. I was happy with it in terms of safety , noise and proximity to restaurants . If using public transport ( like I did) to go to popular places , I'll say it's a bit too far ( 45 minutes to 1 hour ). The accommodation was spotless and by far the best equipped that we well travelled couple have experienced. Here are a few things that we don't often get and which Ana and her delightful parents Rosie and Agustin provided: Ice cubes in tray already made; washing up liquid; tea towels; hair dryer; washing machine;iron and board; coffee maker; multiple cooking implements; soap in the bathroom; sandwich maker; microwave. All the fittings are high quality, the beds are comfortable as is the sofa. The wi-fi is fast and faultless as is the Smart TV. About 200 yards outside the gated and safe residence is a run of 5 or 6 excellent bars and there is a supermarket nearby. Within a mile or so there are many shops and restaurants and I really liked the whole area - which is called Ten- Bel and is quite cosmopolitan. Many Brits for sure, but also Belgians for whom the area is named, Germans, French and others. I highly recommend it all and suggest you book Ana's apartment quickly before word spreads too far !
