It was a nice hotel for the price...Posted Aug 25, 2015
I liked that there was a microwave & nice size refrigerator in the room. That it was clean & the mattresses had covers on them to prevent bed bugs. The staff was helpful and courteous.

Good budget choice close to the BoardwayPosted Aug 20, 2015
Located in the shadow of the Trump Taj Mahal, the Red Carpet Inn is a nice budget choice.. Free parking, free WiFi (which can be spotty in the corners of the building) and free coffee in the morning. The price can't be beat and the facility could use a fresh coat of paint and some TLC but the rooms are quite clean and the bathroom is rather nice though small. The beds are very comfortable.

DisappointedPosted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: The staff was very understanding .
Cons: Whatever is in the ad for the hotel needs to be at the hotel for the quest or make some type of accommodations.
Location: Very close to everything . Easy to get around
The staff was very nice . The area was close to everything which helped us for getting around . When we arrived the elevator wasn't working ,but it was fixed later that day. There was a tea left in the coffee pot and we had to get the replacement coffee from the person who makes the bed. Non were left for the new quests. In the morning we went for breakfast and was told that they only serving coffee. We were disappointed beacause it was indicated that breakfast is serving in the morning. The refrigerator in the room also did not work and had to be replaced . The best thing they had in the room was bed and air conditioner

It was nice & quietPosted Jul 17, 2015
The room was clean and ready for check-in. Also, no additional 'resort fee' attached to the room rate.

Close to the boardwalk - nothing else good!Posted Jul 12, 2015
Paid a high cost for this hotel, not deserving of $25 per night. Looks like a place they rent by the hour. the whole place needs to be torn down and rebuilt, or just left alone to rot some more. Room was as clean as it could be with what they had to work with. We didn't even take a shower, it was so bad. They tried, with lots of soap to use, towels were very minimal. The place had filthy carpets, burn holes in them. Just not what I would expect from a hotel recommended by Expedia and AARP. Please do not go there.

We only used it to sleep. Most of the time we were on the boardwalk which was walking distance. It wasnt a Continental breakfest if you called donuts with mini muffins n coffee breakfest. We had a issue with the airconditioner the 2 night but they managed to fix it

Red carpet--ummm I don't think so!!Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Close to Taj Mahal and boardwalk.
Cons: Need plumbing. Needs a paint job, Redo rooms, better cleaning.
Location: Near convenience stores, Taj Mahal, Resorts, boardwalk.
Peeling paint. Wallpaper dingy. Bathroom not totally clean. Room was too warm. Had to have air conditioning on all the time at 67 degrees. Room curtains did not close all the way, had mildew stains. Shower tiles also had mildew. Could not sit and take a bath. No stopper for the tub. Sink water did not go down completely. The walls were paper thin. Could hear noise all over hotel. Room key kept expiring so I was locked out several times. The television set didn't give all the channels. Many channels not working. Also WIFI was down. When I made reservation it said free breakfast. I was told when I signed in, no free breakfast. They had something but only orange juice, leftover coffee and pastries. Several crazies were hanging around the balcony area all hours of the night, some of them knocking on my door. When I pulled down the coverlet on my bed I saw a small bug crawl out.
