Our stay was ok at best. We arrived at check-in on time. However, we had to wait over an hour to check-in. We were told that our room had been upgraded. But honestly, if that was an upgrade, I would've like to see what our original room looked like. The upgraded room could've been cleaned a little better. Long dark hair in the shower, and it was freezing. To the point of us sleeping in our clothes the first night. The second night, we tried to turn the air off by turning the heat on, and even on 70 it was still freezing. It was blowing even with the fan off. So, we had to call maintenance. It was determined that the cold-water valve was broken. He called Guest Services, and we were offered another "upgrade". We're thinking, if THIS was the upgrade from the other room and it needs repairs? Mm. So we passed. We only had one more night left and didn't want to deal with packing up all our things just to move to another room that might not work for one night. Then around EVERY corner there was someone trying to comp you up into becoming an owner. And the comps were for every resort, except for there. I thought resorts are supposed to feature organized daily programming, sports, or entertainment designed to keep guests busy without leaving the site. They had shows and events they didn't even offer discount tickets to. The best part of my stay was not being in there.

We ended up staying here unexpectedly for several nights after the A/C went out at our house during the Las Vegas heat, and overall it turned into a really good stay. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which made the whole situation a lot easier to deal with. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa and were very happy with it. It was comfortable, had plenty of space, and felt more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room. The amenities were also very nice and gave us a chance to actually enjoy ourselves despite the reason we were there in the first place. What started out as an inconvenient situation ended up being a much more enjoyable stay than we expected. I would definitely consider staying here again, especially for a longer stay where having the extra space and amenities makes a difference.

Room never got cleaned after I asked several times they cleaned kinda cleaned it the last day and it was late in the afternoon. Had to asked more than 6 times for clean towels. They legit dirty towels in the restroo. Room wasn’t cleaned appropriately, left same sheets on the beds (they were dirty) didn’t get toilet paper when it ran out (took it until I they felt like it) we had to buy our own. Overall we had a bad experience with the room and poor service

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Rio Hotel This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Prior to being assigned the first room, I specifically requested an upgrade. Unfortunately, the room we were given had bed bugs, which was completely unacceptable and extremely concerning. Because of the bed-bug issue, we had to be moved to another room. The room we were moved to was the room that had been requested as an upgrade, but it was actually smaller than the original room and did not feel like an upgrade at all. I want to be clear that my upgrade request was made before we discovered the bed bugs and was not something the hotel provided as compensation for the situation. The second room also had a non-functioning mini fridge, adding another inconvenience to an already unacceptable situation. We were also charged incorrectly for our stay, which needs to be reviewed and corrected immediately. The pool experience was equally disappointing. A poolside food menu was prominently displayed, but when we attempted to order from it, we were told that the advertised food options were not actually available. This was extremely misleading and left us having to leave the pool area and go indoors to find food. Requested Resolution Given the circumstances, I am requesting a substantial adjustment to my bill, specifically: * A full refund for the night affected by the bed-bug incident * A full refund/reversal of any incorrect charges * An additional $300 hotel credit
