Great breakfast but might requiere other options that are not eggs, the location is superb and the decoration excellent, it has a lot of stairs which might not be comfortable for older people

Our stay at Windsor Townhouse was absolutely excellent. The accommodation was spotless, welcoming and comfortable, with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in! Breakfast was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay, with a special mention to Victoria and Katriona, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was also so thoughtful of them to look after our cases for us until it was time to leave, which made our departure so much easier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Windsor Townhouse to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Linda and Tricia Glasgow

Unfortunately, our room was in the sub basement, which was very damp. There were no washcloths available in the bathroom and there were no trashcan liner so we couldn’t even use the trash cans. Unfortunate because it’s a beautiful building.

Friendly welcome, explained how to work the door entry. Top floor Room was adequate, loft room, bed lamps and a table lamp, blind stuck so couldn’t drop or raise it. Air con in room which was helpful as it was super hot. Plenty of sockets. Fridge, microwave, iron/board, hairdryer. Considering staff don’t stay there, more tea coffee sugar would be welcomed as no one to ask after they lock up and go home. Clearly paying this price to be central, it should say in the hotels.com write up that they add on 10%. I received this information by email prior to arrival. It was not mandatory so I didn’t pay it. The parking charge was £18 10 min walk away so that was my 10%. Breakfast was very nice, easy checkout.
