Battery Park Tours

We stayed at the hotel a few years ago and in the intervening years the rooms were remodeled. Great proximity to the beach, which is our reason for our Indigenous Day yearly Westerly trips. Close to town and shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

Clean room and comfortable bed (looked exactly like photo) in an interesting historic building. Our room was large, well-lit, and had working AC. The one shared bathroom was beautiful and very clean, but we sometimes had to wait. Great location - along river near footbridge across river, with food trucks and Tizzy K's. Wonderful Dave's coffee just down the road. Available parking either along road or in lot behind The Hill. NOTE that the kitchen is NOT available, which should have been noted before booking (kitchen photos and details on using the kitchen were on the booking site). A Keurig was available in the hall outside of rooms, but no K-cups or paper cups/mugs were provided (BYO). Bring your own washcloths. Only 2 bath towels were included in our room, and no place to hang them. Only one outlet was usable. I was glad I brought an extension cord powerstrip with USB plugins. It was VERY loud Thursday through Sat nights until 2 am (we had the King sleighbed room with red carpet). Drag racing, shockingly loud mufflers, and extremely loud music from cars and motorcycles. Not the fault of the property, but earplugs would be a welcomed addition. You may want to avoid if you're a light sleeper.
