"We loved the classiness of the hotel generally. They've done a good job of maintaining the vintage character of the place, without being prohibitive in terms of cost. That being said, it is due for a slight makeover, especially the room itself (the lobby is beautiful). Also, it's fine if there's no elevator, but as long as this is the case, a bellhop really is necessary (and would have been available in the old days, I am sure). "
