"This is a lovely historic property which has a nice little bar and restaurant, a cute pool & hot tub, even a golf course and a fun gift shop. We took the only available room type on a holiday weekend which was on the 3rd floor - no elevator - and at 9000 feet elevation that could be hard for some people. I'm guessing the third floor will be the last to be updated; it has quite a vintage vibe with antique touches and extremely dated carpet. There was no screen on the window. The bed was quite comfortable. The grounds and building were undoubtably opulent back in the day, although more maintenance is needed to bring it back up to the country club level it had back then. The included full hot buffet breakfast plus omelet station was better than most hotel hot breakfasts. And our evening stop at the bar was enjoyable."
