“I recently stayed at the Exmoor White Horse Inn for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The accommodation was comfortable, welcoming, and full of character, providing the perfect place to relax after long days outdoors. Its location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Exmoor, with beautiful hiking trails practically on the doorstep. The staff were warm and helpful, and the overall atmosphere made the stay feel truly special. Honestly, I can’t fault it, and……

Staff are great and the pub has a nice relaxed feel with a bar area used by the locals (Friendly) with everything you want from a country pub. Restaurant area separate from the pub with a good varied menu.the food I had was great and good value for money. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”

“What a find ! Gorgeous 16th Century Farmhouse B&B. Fantastic that the wonderful hosts Sharon & Paul are fully dog-friendly - as I was on a solo short break with our younger dog, we were both made welcome. Lovely clean, nicely decorated spacious room. Bonus of a fridge with water & a small glass bottle of proper milk ie not sachets etc, to go with the well stocked courtesy tray. Lots of little touches, like various "I've forgotten" items, wine glasses, glass tumblers & corkscrew ... even a hair……

“The room was lovely and quirky old fashioned with original features. Bathroom nice and clean staff were so polite and helpful. Only issue was tv was set with a reminder to change channel spoke to staff they thought it was rectified but happened for second night not an issue as stay was relaxing and enjoyable. ”

“The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. The location opposite the beach is delightful and quite quiet - and very convenient for the West……
