Room price

This was a big football weekend in Bloomington--everything was sold out. However, we made these reservations through Expedia months ago. When my husband checked in, the hotel charged him more than the original rate. That is unacceptable, and if we hadn't checked the original pricing, we would have paid too much.

We were in Bloomington for the Michigan/ Indiana football game. The hotel was right downtown close to everything. My son is a student at IU and it is very close to campus. We were able to walk everywhere. The parking was close.

Underwelmed

Wasn't allowed to check in on time. Didn't access room til 5:00. Really messed up day plans. Hotel employee told me to just "take the cards being dealt" when I calmly told him I wasn't thrilled with not being able to check in. Room was average. TV channels stopped working. Nice location but expected more when you pay for one of the nicest rooms in town. Other staff was professional and competent.

Overbooked / bedbugs

Was given an accessible room due to the hotel being overbooked. Then i was given a room with bugs crawling around the bed.

I am certainly sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. Our team works very hard to insure that each room is impeccably clean. We take "bugs" of any type very seriously, and our team is trained to inspect for pests daily. In addition, we have a third party pest elimination company inspect the hotel and pre-treat for any pests on a monthly basis. I appreciate you reporting this incident so that we along with our pest elimination vendor can address this situation quickly.

Nice hotel

Enjoyed our stay, it is located close to everything! Loved the water in lobby with all the fresh fruit. The only negative was breakfast was not included.

Convenient and comfortable stay in Bloomington

Comfortable and clean room, quiet and convenient. Bathroom tile was a bit moldy.
