We got in very early from a red eye flight. Our rooms were not ready (we expected that) but the check in desk was so very accommodating. They offered for us to eat the continental breakfast and rest in the lobby. They even helped with easy directions on the train to get to Fenway Park. The neighborhood was clean and easy to walk around. Lots of food and grocery options. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would stay there again.

The hotel and location was so far OK. The breakfast the hotel provided was a typical unhealthy and poor American style breakfast. It seems to me that American hotel chains, different from all other hotels, are the basics of the basics and by providing plastic plates and cups, having an absolutely environmental system. I would put this hotel in the category "sleep and go" Rooms do not have a window and/or fresh air from outside and the AC is so noisy that you have to sleep with earplugs. In the 3 days I have stayed there, there was no housekeeping. The way why the hotel doesn’t have windows is because the history of this hotel was that the old and main part of the building use to be (one of the operators) a Hilton hotel. The old hotel rooms are still equipped with old style internet and electricity connection in the wall. Showers are 70.s style and very small. There, where the pool and parking used to be, they decided to build a steel construction over the entire lower part of the hotel. Demolished the parking and filled the place with pre-fab with cubicles/rooms hotel rooms in the middle. They kept the old 2 floor tract and put a steel/glass facade in front of the street. So...this is the reason why there is no direct sun/daylight, (except a skylight in the roof on the inner part of the building) it is a very dark place. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel. The front desk is often not occupied. Would I use this hotel again for my trips? Probably not!!

Great location , beautiful building and amenities. Was so easy to get around with public transit and the location was in a nice neighborhood. Didn’t like the noise from the wall at night , no window, low quality toilet paper and no trash bags.

Really lucked out with this hotel! Staff were so nice. Breakfast was really good and they left out later than normal because they had leftovers. Storing luggage was easy.

Horrible website. All phone calls also tried to direct you to their sales oriented website that would never answer your inquiries. Example is they rejected this review for reasons on "list of guidelines...on the Tips & Guidelines link". Going there, there was no link. So I had to guess and delete a lot of negative things (that were not abusive) until this got accepted.

There’s a convenient train stop right in front of the hotel. The area was quiet and safe. The front desk staff were very friendly. I suppose the only drawback was that it was a little hard to get housekeeping services. We were only able to get our room cleaned once out of the four days… When I asked, I was told there was no availability. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this is the first time that has ever happened. On the upside, we were given fresh towels on request. The morning breakfast was also nicely stocked and had a little bit of everything. We also appreciated the coffee and water service in the lobby. We recommend visiting Boston. It’s safe, clean, and there’s a lot of interesting history to explore. Thank you
