"I have stayed at the Esplanade several times over the years. It changes little but always seems fresh. I noticed they have dropped the door keys with the large tassels for tap keys. Shame but it will not stop me stayong again! This is a top European elegance hotel. Rooms are large. I was recognised and upgraded. It has a lovely terrace and memorablr breakfast. I look forward to my next stay. "

"My taxi dropped me off at the front door, but after entering, I had to carry heavy bags through a lobby to an elevator to get to reception. Leaving elevator another good distance to desk, then back to elevator to reach my room. I hadn't realized I booked a junior suite, never usually do, and it was way more than I needed.
