“The room was adequate , nothing fancy, but TV was difficult to get working, and no instructions. However, the breakfast was horrible, unless you're a big fan of honeybuns and yogurt for breakfast. Ugh.”

“Omgoodness this place is absolutely amazing!!! We went for a spiritual journey and it was perfect!! The lake & water fall creek with seats sitting in the water was perfect for my reading and meditating. It is absolutely beautiful!!! They had a concert Saturday night, we didn't go to the actual concert but was right beside it and they were fabulous!! Great place to stay! We will definitely return. Thank you so much for everything!”

“Property was in impeccable shape. I build a lot of hotels, they did a great job on that one. Nice staff and food was a lot better than expected. Hotel and resort food usually lets us down. Not this trip! Great wine list at Auld Alliance. Bryant, 100 Acre, SE and Sassicaia to name a few. Lunch out at the pool was excellent. We will be back. We love places that have the food and the wine! And we live 2 hours away.”

“The Read House is a marvel of restoration that incorporates modernization as well as a brilliant retention of its original charm. Never see it done better. We LOVE staying there. (If your hotel room bath is important to you... there is none better. Trust me.) Chattanooga is usually our last stop on the way home so our stay is only one night. We have decided to discover what activities are available in the are just so we have an excuse to stay at the Read House Hotel for longer visits. Somehow it……
