“This is a reasonably priced hotel that is clean, perfectly located for what we wanted to do(hit ORV ramps 43/44 & 48/49), w/an easy check in/out procedure & just the right comfortable accommodations for 3-4 people. We used to vacation on the weekly basis w/other families in big houses in OBX, but w/older kids, scheduling has become a nightmare, so we've shifted to multiple weekend trips to OBX instead. “I stayed at the property with my kids. Unfortunately the beach was not accessible due to shoreline restoration work and that was a bummer. I loved the fact that there was a linen exchange program so one could get clean towels and linens any time. Staff was super helpful. Property rooms were clean and fairly well maintained although the property itself looked quite worn out. Kids loved the pool. I would have preferred having turndown service given that I stayed for around a week. Check in……

“Truly an exceptional stay. The treetop is exactly as described. It looks out over the treetops and you can sit on the porch and enjoy the birds and sunset. The interior is chic and comfortable - and we slept soundly in the queen bed. Lisa, the hostess, was wonderful and inviting. I would highly recommend the Treetop.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The room and public lounge were clean. It was just a short walk to the beach and a grocery store was 2 minutes away. Having not used touch keypad locks, it would have been nice to have simple instructions for that and the AC/heating wall unit. But overall it was good.”
