Our luxury 2BR condo situated within the Solara Resort, has spectacular mountain views and is within walking distance to downtown Canmore and all restaurants and amenities. Just 10 min from the Banff National Park Gates, this location makes it a perfect home base for any activity including sightseeing, hiking, skiing, golfing (World Renowned Silver Tip Golf Course is in Canmore) or just relaxing and enjoying the views. This destination is central to all the best the Canadian Rockies has to offer including Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Banff, Icefields Parkway, Kananaskis, Jasper and much much more.

As for the condo itself situated on the 3rd floor, our two balconies offer plenty of sun and a clear, unobstructed view of the 3-Sister Mountain Range. Our two bedroom suite features a gourmet designer kitchen with granite countertops and state of the art stainless steel appliances, dining room seating for six, wine fridge, living room with pull out leather couch providing additional sleeping space, flat screen TV's (1 in every room) with complimentary cable, free high speed WIFI, BBQ on balcony and a washer and dryer. The bedroom suites each offer a king bed, with the ability to convert the second bedroom king into 2 twins if desired and there is a safe in each room. The bathrooms are spa-inspired with stone vanities, deep soaking tub and steam shower unit.

This home is in a great location in Canmore. It is well furnished with everything we needed. The host reached out to us a couple times just to make sure things were going well. I would book here again!

2 nice bedrooms with king size beds that are comfortable. Kitchen and laundry are state of set and deck has a BBQ grill. Excellent underground parking. Easy to get to Banff and lower cost.

Ski Banff

We arrived to a cheerful, beautiful apartment. Beds are wonderful, kitchen is thoroughly equipped, balconies are amazing (great view of 3 Sisters), and the living room is verrry comfortable! Excellent location...

This is a great property in a great location. Having the key codes for the doors etc is just genius, as the check in and entrance is so quick. It was great to have a base that wasn't a hotel as we were travelling with my 80 year old mother and it meant that we could all socislise in the evenings. Thank you for a great stay.

Double 50th Anniversary Trip

Canmore at the Solara was great. The mountains were breathtakingly beautiful. We went to tea at the Fairmount Chateau and went up the gorgeous Icefields Parkway to the Athbasca Glacier. We saw beautiful tourquoise and emerald lakes. We loved our home base at the Solara. A trip we will always cherish.

Excellent Mountain Property

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property with views of the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked for those who wish to stay in and cook. All of the linen on the beds were great and being a big fan of good pillows, I appreciated the plentiful and squishy pillows provided. We had a wonderful time and Christine was so easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions promptly. I highly recommend this accomodation.

April Ski Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo. It was our second year coming to the Banff area and our second time staying in this condo. The property manager is great- very good with communication. The condo is beautiful, with great amenities, and nice view of the mountains, and close (30-60 min drive) to Banff National Park, Sunshine Ski Village and Lake Louise. I would highly recommend!

Great family stay

Our family enjoyed the stay. Unit was clean and stocked well. Comfortable bedding. Great communication with owner. Unit was as described. If you want to use wifi on all TVs just bring your Amazon stick but we were really there for skiing and outdoor fun. Indoor pool is nice for a little dip. The large indoor hot tub is great for a soak.

While we enjoyed our stay in this comfortable condo there were some detractors through no fault of the owner. The doors were not sound proof and noise in hallways and other rooms was at times very disruptive. Noteworthy for those with sensitivity: condo had a strong floral fragrance, perhaps air freshener used in excess? Any communication with Christina was immediate. She kept us informed of some maintenance issues. Great location in Canmore.

Disappointed

The elevator was out since March of 2025! The owner kept us updated and said it would be operational anytime. It never was. We were on the 3rd floor and from the garage that was an everyday huge climb! Especially with groceries!! We were compensated a bit for that but would much rather have had the working elevator. We have a few older folks in the group that couldn't come to our place because of the elevator situation.The other misleading thing was the "advertised" theatre room. We had other family members (13 of us) staying there and planned a pizza/movie night. It is non operational! They don't use it anymore for movies but the front desk said it's only used for corporate events!! We were all (including the children) VERY disappointed to say the least. I contacted the host again with no results. I said it shouldn't be in your VRBO listing as an amenity! Very misleading as that was one of the reasons I choose this place. As for the pros, the place was clean. Shower was fancy -lots of jets. Seem to be enough towels. Ample spices. Could use a few more plates and silverware so we wouldn't have to run dishwasher everyday. Location seemed good. 20 minutes to Banff.
